It was created as a story to keep children in their beds, spun by the old to chill the ambition of curious youth. But with their fear, fresh and untainted, it became more. It took to life, and to keep such a marvelous design, it took life. But not only form the youth whose fear it took to grow, but from all that feared enough for it to hunger.
