His teammates were like brothers, and they’d be damned if they didn’t get the cup this year. He had grown to love Montreal, even if it was a tough town to be a hockey player in.
And then the girl walked in, and everything changed.

She was the first to break up a fight, and occasionally the first to start one. The old French men at the bar called her l'etincelle - the spark. She was no longer the girl Max had known, she was a woman who had finally found herself.
