Lab Rat

The world is divided between humans and shifters. Even though shifters have started to become accepted as a part of society, there are still those that are closed-minded and fear them. This being said, there are many humans that would love to get their hands on a shifter. These people, scientists mostly, want to know what is different about their DNA and shifter DNA, and they want to know how to make them human. This causes fear to arise in the shifter community, forcing them to hide their true nature and pretend to fit in with humans.
