There's So Much Beauty, When Your Eyes Lay Lost in All the City Lights.

Chapter Two

It has been 3 days since my strange encounter with Josh, and I just couldn't get him out of my mind. Today was Thuesday, and I was sitting in my math class, which was the last one of the day. I was a good student, but since I've met him, I just couldn't focus on what the teacher was talking about anymore.
Damn it, what was it about this guy?

"Hey, are you alright, Faye? You seem so off lately", my best friend, Julie whispered.
"What? Yeah, I'm fine, don't worry", I answered and played with my fingers nervously.
She shook her head, "Come on, I'm not stupid. It's because of this..Josh guy, right?" She said his name like it was some disease, making me roll my eyes.

Luckily, the bell rung, signaling the end of the lesson. I grabbed my bag and got up to walk outside.

"Could you please wait for me?!", Julie shouted as she came running towards me. "I swear to god, Faye, the next time you just leave me sitting there without saying Bye, I'm gonna kill you!"

This girl really got the best of me sometimes, she could be so annoying. "Julie, I-"
But I stopped talking as I saw her eyes widen. She touched my shoulder lightly. "There is this guy, and he's walking over to us, do you know him? What the hell, who is that?"

I gave her a confused look and turned around slowly. And I almost fainted as I saw who she was talking about.
Walking towards us, was Josh, a sly smile on his face, and a motorcycle helmet in his right hand. I looked behind him, seeing a really expensive looking motorcycle standing in the school parking lot.

Suddenly I could feel hot breath hitting my neck as a deep voice whispered in my ear, "Hey, kitten."
I jumped, realizing that I zoned out. "J-Josh, what are you doing here?", I stuttered.
"I just wanted to pay you a visit, Faye. Aren't you happy to see me?", he said, reaching out to play with a strand of my hair, a smirk on his lips the whole time.

"Uh, I'm going home, see you tomorrow", Julie said and left quickly, I completely forgot that she was standing next to me the whole time.

I couldn't help but to feel observed and turned around. Groups of students were watching us, whispering to each other. Some of them studying Josh with a shocked or disgusted face. I swallowed thickly, I hated to be in the center of attention.

"Don't worry about them. Come with me, I'm showing you my world today", he smirked and laid a hand on my back, guiding me towards his motorcycle.

Josh handed me his helmet. "Here, you take it, I want you to be safe, kitten."
And with that he sat on his motorcycle, waiting for me to take a seat behind him.
"But..-"
He didn't even let me finish my sentence. "Shut up and sit your pretty little ass down."
I blushed at that and muttered a quiet "Fine", before sitting behind him.
"Wrap your arms around me, or you'll fall down, and we don't want that, do we?" He chuckled.

I hesitated for a second, before I wrapped my arms around his waist. And with that, he turned on the engine, and pulled out of the parking lot, speeding off to where he wanted to take me. I really asked myself if I was crazy, he could be a murderer or something, and I was vulnerable to him now. I should stop thinking like that, and just trust him this one time. Why did he even want to see me again? I was a boring, 18 year old girl, that was the complete opposite of him. I just don't get this guy. I didn't know anything about him, for fuck's sake! And with that I zoned out again, my thoughts wandering to the deepest, darkest corners of my mind..

"Hey princess, we're here", Josh said, his voice ripping me from my thoughts. I noticed that he had parked his motorcycle and was standing in front of me, he stretched his arms out to help me down from it. I pulled the helmet off first and let him help me.
"Thanks", I whispered breathlessly. I noticed that we were standing in front of a big building.
"What are we doing here?"
He grinned widely, "This is a concert hall."
"You're taking me to a concert?" Is that what he meant when he told me that he would show me his world? He wanted to show me the music he listened to?
"I'm taking you to a concert of my band", he stated, watching my face intently.

My eyes widened in shock. His band? He was in a band..what.
His arm curled around my waist and we walked towards the building, he showed one of the security guards his backstage pass and told them that I belonged to him, and they let us inside.

This guy had the ability to confuse me every time. Damn it, Josh.

We arrived at a door with a sign on it, that said: 'Dressing room, Motionless In White.'
Josh smirked, opening it. Inside were 5 guys, they were all wearing black clothes and dark make up, or war paint, I don't know.

"Yo, Balz! Who's that lady on your side?", one of them, the tallest one, shoutet.
I blushed a deep shade of red and wanted the floor to open up and swallow me. I didn't fit in here, not even in the slightest.

"Guys, that is Faye. I ran into her a few days ago and knocked her over. I thought I'd show her some real music today."

I hid my face in my hands in embarrassment.

"She's a shy one, huh?", I heard another one ask.
Josh laughed, grabbing my hands and pulling them away from my face. He leaned in close to my ear and whispered, "Your face is as red as a tomato, kitten."

"Could you assholes please be nice for once and introduce yourselves?!", Josh shouted, letting go of my hands.

The tall one introduced himself as Chris, another one with black eyeshadow around his eyes was called Ricky. Another guy's name was Devin, or Ghost, as they all called him, and believe me when I say, his make up really made him look like a ghost. The other two introduced themselves as Ryan and Vinny.
I gave them a shy smile and looked back at Josh, not knowing what to do. He told me to sit down on one of the couches while he did his stage make up.

I felt kind of lost sitting there, afraid to say anything, when suddenly that Ricky guy sat beside me. "So, Faye, huh? You and Balz a thing?"
My eyes shot open and I shook my head quickly. "No, he just picked me up from school today and brought me here with him, to, uh..'show me his world'"
"Ah, I see why", he said, looking me up and down, "Are you as innocent as you look?" He winked at me and I felt myself blush again.

"Ricky, you fucker, stop intimidating her", Josh laughed. I looked up at him, his right eye was rimmed with black, and he had a white contact lens in it, while his other eye looked like he had a dark contact lens in it.
"Damn", I whispered to myself, hoping that no one heard me.

"Motionless, you're on in 5 minutes!", we heard someone yell.

"Come one", Josh said, laying his arm around my shoulders, "You're watching us from the side of the stage."
I peeked around the corner of the side stage, to see a huge crowd standing there. "Holy shit, Josh."
He chuckled at my stunned face. "I know." He sounded proud, and I couldn't help but to smile.
The first of them, Vinny started to walk outside, the crowd started screaming, and I jumped slightly, feeling frightened by the volume.

Josh let his hand trail from my cheek down my neck, a sly grin playing on his lips. "See you in a few." And with that he went on stage, the crowd was going crazy at the time they were all outside.

Chris talked to the crowd, and then the first song started...and holy. fucking. shit. I thought that I was going to faint, my eyes widened. I used to think music like Metallica was extreme, but this was a whole new level. That was unlike any music I've ever listened to.

Josh shoot me a glance and winked at me. I watched him play his keyboard, he went crazy, like the rest of the band. He was headbanging to the music and shouted the lyrics along with Chris. Something about him on stage made a tingling feeling shoot through my body. I bit my lip, suddenly feeling kind of hot.

The concert went on for about an hour, they thanked the crowd and came running off stage.
Josh reached his hands out to me. "Come here."
I screeched, taking a few steps back. "Ew, no, you're all sweaty."

They all laughed loudly and went back to the dressing room. Leaving me alone with Josh. He came towards me slowly, backing me up against the wall behind me. He placed his hands on the wall, next to my head. He leaned in close to me, his lips brushing over my jaw line gently. "Don't act like you don't want my sweaty hands running all over your body, kitten."
A soft whimper escaped my lips and I squeezed my legs together because of the feeling that was spreading through my body. What was he doing to me?
He chuckled and let me go. "I'm driving you home now, it's late, little girls have to sleep at a time like this."
"Stop it...I'm not little."

- 1 hour later -

We arrived at the house I lived in, and Josh insisted on bringing me to my apartment door.

"So, you wanna come in or..?", I asked with a small voice.
"I'm bringing you to bed. I mean, I have to make sure, that you go to sleep." He said in a teasing tone. I sighed.

I pulled out my keys and opened the door. Suddenly I was picked up an carried inside, Josh kicked the door shut with his foot.
"What are you-", I wanted to protest, but of course he was having none of it.
"Where is your bedroom?"
I pointed to the door on the left and he carried me inside, setting me onto my bed. "Can I have your phone for a second?"

I nodded and handed it to him. He pulled out his phone too and typed something in it. When he was done, he laid my phone on the table next to my bed.
"Go to sleep now, kitten. Good night", he placed a kiss on my forehead, and left.
Leaving me completely dumbfounded. Again.
I laid awake for another hour, trying to process everything that happened today, when I felt my phone vibrate.

'I hope you enjoyed today.
Sleep well, kitten. - Josh'
