I'm the Last One That You'll Ever Remember

Chapter 161: Grisly Dream

The next night, after a lengthy day of fun taking the kids out to the zoo, to lunch at their ideal place, and then to a giant indoor playground, Frank was passed out in his bed next to a trembling Gerard who was undergoing a nightmare. It was a dark dream that steered it’s desolation through rapid stages.

First, he had finally married Frank in a massive ceremony with their children in attendance among Frank’s family...the smiling corpses of Gerard’s family fresh out of the graveyard...and every single Killjoy member that had enlisted from the beginning until the day he left. He thought nothing of these murderers and zombies congregating together for their unity at first. All he cared about was his beloved husband beaming up at him with excitement.

After that ceremony, they scene rippled away like water to their honeymoon at some tropical island resort. The newlyweds had raced each other to their white bed in earnest to make love again and when the sun came up the next day, Gerard awoke to find himself lying in a bed saturated with blood and his Frankie sprawled beside him with his throat cut, dead. Overcome with debilitating despair, Gerard had drawn his icy lover into the loving folds of his arm then screamed with agony over his loss.

“Gee! Gee, baby, wake up! It’s only a dream.” Frank’s voice resounded within his head, proving to him that he was now doomed here on earth cursed with the sound of his lover’s voice echoing forever through his head for the duration of his life.

Only it was just a dream. Gerard figured that to be so when he was suddenly jolted out of his sleep by his Frankie. Gerard was doused in his own sweat, his limbs entangled by the sheets he must have been fighting in his sleep. “W-What?!”

“Shh, or you’ll wake, Milo.” Frank hushed him tenderly, installing a finger to his lips. “Just relax now, Gee. Everything is okay. You were just having a nightmare.”

Lifting an unsteady hand, Gerard gradually directed it to Frank’s cheek in fear that he had been transported to another grisly dream. It was only when he felt the silkiness of his skin that he was finally satisfied it was over and that he was back in reality where Frank was alive and well. “You’re...you’re really here.”

Placing his hand over his, Frank nuzzles his cheek in the palm of Gerard’s hand with a tender smile. “Of course, I’m here, Gee. I only got up to feed Milo and change his diaper, he was starting to get fussy and I didn't want him to wake you up too.”

“Thank god!” Gerard whimpered, sitting fully up he imprisoned his naked boyfriend within the circle of his rigid hold. Closing his eyes, he rested his cheek over Frank’s heart, yearning for some reassurance. “Thank god, baby, thank god!”

Frank wiggled in Gerard’s grip or at least tried to. His hold was iron tight and wasn’t about to subside anytime soon. Settling in his hold, Frank tried to upraise him instead by running his hands through his hair and over his back. Lowering his head, he pressed kisses on Gerard’s head. “What happened, Gee? What were you dreaming about?”

“I lost you.” Gerard whimpered, trying to lull his galloping heart that was traumatized by his nightmare. “We were married and...god, we were so happy, you and me...but then on the morning of our honeymoon, you were lying next to me in a pool of blood. Dead. Your throat was cut.”

Frank closed his own eyes. He couldn’t imagine how hysterical Gerard must have been...then again he didn’t have to, he was viewing the results right now. His resilient solid Gee was now a trembling lump of a crippled man. He could only envision how horrendously he’d handle it himself if it had been his dream instead. The thought made him shudder in horror, and filled him with compassion for his lover. “Oh baby, I’m so sorry you had to go through that. But you have to remember that that was all a dream. I’m perfectly fine.” Stroking his hands over Gerard’s muscular arms, Frank came up with the superb solution and went to lever those very arms off of him. “Here, let me go and get you a glass of water. You’ll feel much better afterwards, you’ll see.”

“No, don’t go!” Gerard protested frantically and clung tighter to him before he was shushed again by Frank.

“Gee, Milo is sleeping.” Frank reminded him with a hiss. “Keep your voice down.”

“Then don’t go!” Gerard hissed back, hoping he’d listen to his plea. Right now he’d gladly disturbed the sleeping baby if that’ll mean Frank would remain with him. He had just gone through the shocking ordeal of losing him, and now awoken to find him alive and well only for him to want to leave to get him a glass of water? Hell no! He was staying with him!

“But you’re probably parched! Look how much you’ve sweated.” Frank lamented in pity, his hands roaming over the cold sleek muscles. “Relax a little for me, Gee. I’ll be back in a minute.”

“No!” Gerard snapped impatiently. To further reestablish his demand, he utilized his arms to sweep his lover up to straddle his lap so he didn’t have to bend anymore to rest his cheek against his chest. This position was more comfortable. Nevermind his flaccid cock maximizing back to life with sexual intentions. “I don’t need water, Frankie. I just need you. Just you.”

Frank had asked the same of Gerard once when he came home from a late night adventure, probably to Starbucks. He had so much going through his mind then, a lot of dark secrets he didn’t know if he could share with his baby daddy considering he was clean from all that Killjoy bloodshed business. But after enticing him into sex to distract himself with a frenzied orgasm, Frank found out Gerard knew of his secrets and hadn’t held it against him for not telling him. They had made love that night and probably would this night according to the erection poking under him.

Smiling to himself, Frank combed Gerard’s long strands aside to sprinkle kisses on his forehead. Craving more, Gerard turned his head towards him and tilted it back to stare up at him with his bloodshot light brown eyes. Feeling his heart twinge for his sorrow, Frank swept his hair further aside with a smile. “It’s alright, love. I’m here with you now. Like you said before, nothing is going to happen to me, right?”

Mute, Gerard stared back up at him. Before that nightmare he would have been brisk to back up his previous statement, but now...he didn’t know what else to say. He was beginning to doubt himself that he would be able to protect the man he loved. Was it because he was in such a vulnerable state that he no longer believed he could do it, or was it the truth? Hell, did that mean he wouldn’t be able to save his children either?

“Right, Gerard?” Frank whispered, his smile now gone as he watched the conflict battle it out in his eyes. “Nothing bad is going to happen to me.”

“R-Right.” Gerard stammered to say, not sounding at all that credible.

Crushed by his defeatness, Frank hurried to raise his morale. Leaning forward, he bestowed butterfly kisses over the man’s face from his forehead to his chin and everything else in between. He took his time with every kiss to ebb the rigid muscles under his hands. He was only satisfied that everything would be fine again when his lips barely brushed over Gerard’s before he moaned softly and captured them with his.

Wrapping his arms around Gerard’s neck, he allowed the older man to plunder his lips with his desired severity. He submitted to the pressure and met it with his own. The muscles beneath his hands loosened as the erection beneath him jabbed him even harder. The kisses became a make out session with Gerard diving his fingers into Frank’s hair to hold his lips prisoner this time. The younger man followed by doing the same, tangling his fingers in his longer strands. They took turns slanting their mouths over the other to dictate the kiss by deepening it every time. Gerard was the first to yield, not being able to take it anymore. Pushing forward, he fell with Frank down onto the bed where he was trapped beneath him.

“Gee!” Frank gasped in surprise, having been scared he was about to fall off the bed. But their bed was a king size and would easily keep him from tumbling off. Draping his legs around Gerard’s waist, he hoisted his hips to grind his erection over his and made them both bite back their deep moans from the euphoric contact. Neither of them was wishing to wake the baby up, but then again neither of them wanted to take a raincheck on sex either.

“Mmm.” Gerard moaned against Frank’s lips, reaching down between them to nab his cock and escort it to Frank’s entrance. They had made love before bed and so Frank didn’t need to be prepared to receive him. Entering fully in thrust, both bodies arched in ecstacy, their heads flung back as they adhered to each other. Mouths opened and closed wordlessly with the desire to proclaim their pleasure, but they settled with not doing so. Instead, they concentrated on building up the other’s climax and riding the last lingering waves of it to completion. All without a condom.
