"Thank you so much for the ride Taylor" Madison said opening the door to her apartment
"It's no problem, do you have
everything?" She asked. Madison looked at her suitcase she would check in, her matching carry on, her backpack and her purse
"Yes?" She said, Taylor chuckled "if not oh well, plus I still have a lot of random things at Sidney's so I will be fine" she said with a smile
"Here I will get this" Taylor said taking the bigger suitcase. Madison locked the door behind her and they walked to the elevator and took it to the bottom floor.
"I'm super tired, I can't wait to get there" Madison said getting in the range rover. Sidney had bought it for Taylor as her graduation gift from
High school and Taylor absolutely loved it. Madison loved it cause it reminded her of Sidney.
"Good thing it's only a hour and 45 minute flight" Taylor said, Madison nodded and looked at her phone
"I got hardly any sleep this week, I didn't want to come until the middle of next week but Sidney made sure I came for this event tomorrow, I don't even know what it is, he said it's a charity thing but I don't know" she said with a sigh
"When you get there make him keep his hands off of you and get some sleep" Taylor said, Madison chuckled.
"We will see" she said with a smile. Taylor made a face and turned her attention to the green light in front of her. As they arrived at the airport Taylor parked and helped her check in her bag. "Thanks Taylor, I'll see you in a few weeks"
"Tell sid hello"
"I will" she said hugging her, she waved bye as she walked towards security. Taylor pulled out her phone and text Sidney as she headed towards her car. She had to go home and get her stuff for her flight that night.
At the airport Sidney was waiting patiently for her to come down the escalator, he smiled when he saw her and as she stepped off he was there to take her in his arms. He hugged her tightly before placing her down to kiss her gently.
"Mmm I missed you" he said in between kisses, she smiled
"Me too, take me home captain"
"You don't have to tell me twice, let's get your stuff and go" he said walking to the belt, he grabbed her bag and hand and hand they walked to his car. The ride to the house was silent but comfortable. She was happy to be next to him.
Once inside Sidney's dog Sam was waiting patiently to great her. She sat her stuff down and gave the dog some love before kicking her shoes off and taking her stuff to their room. Sidney rummaged through the mail making sure nothing was there before setting his keys down
"baby you hungry?"
"No are you?" She yelled back
"Not right now" he said removing his wallet and keys from his pants. He set the alarm and ran up the stairs. Thankfully Sidney left the ring at Mario's and didn't have to worry about her finding that or any trace of a proposal, it was a breath of fresh air knowing it wasn't in the house.
"You're wearing this suit tomorrow?" She asked hanging her stuff up, he sat down on the bed and looked at the walk in close.
"Ya why?"
"You've only worn this one once and that was during the last game of the Stanley cup the night y'all won" she said
"Ya so?"
"I thought it was for a special occasion only, tomorrow is just another event"
"It is special, you know why? Because your here" he said, she chuckled and rolled her eyes playfully. She dropped the subject and he was able to breath again. He really couldn't wait for this to be over. He had forgotten the he tried the suit on for what seemed the 100 time that day making sure it fit still.
"Done" she said "I'm super exhausted"
"Let's stay in, watch a movie, have sex, and go to bed early" Sidney said, she shut the light off in the closet and shut the door before looking at him with a smile, she crawled onto the king sized bed.
"Whatever you want" she said crawling towards him, she leaned down and kissed him
"I love you"
