Six
The next morning she woke up halfway on top of Sidney. Her legs where entwined with his, her head was on his chest, and her hand rested on his chest. Sidney was sound asleep on his back. His left arm around her and his right hand held the hand that was on his chest, she smiled as the diamond of her ring caught her attention. She raised her head up and looked at her new fiancé. How was she so lucky? She didn't have a clue. She kissed his chest lightly and within minutes his eyes opened
"Mm good morning baby" he said with a smile
"Good morning"
"How did you sleep?" He asked
"So good" she said, he smiled and moved the hair from her face before leaning towards her to plant a kiss on her lips "I love you"
"I love you" he said kissing her again
"Make love to me" she whispered, he smiled
"You don't have to tell me twice" he said flipping her over, she giggled and kissed him deeply until his phone started to blare, Sidney didn't stop.
"Sid phone" she said, he looked down at her and kissed her again
"They can wait I'm about to make passionate love to my fiancé, and that's more important" he said she smiled and kissed him again. After an hour, Sidney was up moving while Madison was in the bathroom
"Who was it?" She asked walking out of the bathroom, her towel wrapped around her body, Sidney stared at her as she walked towards the closet "Sid"
"Oh" he said snapping out of his staring "your dad, I actually do have a meeting today, but pat isn't here so they are just going to come here and we will be in the basement" he said
"With a house full of guest?" She asked removing her towel
"Not if you keep walking around naked" he said, she looked behind her to see him standing there. He walked up and kissed her
"You have the rest of your life to see me naked" she said
"Thank god" he replied, she smiled and pushed him away before grabbing her swim suit
"I will just keep everyone outside until it's over"
"No I mean it's fine"
"There will be like 30 people here"
"True" he said
"They will be here in like 45 minutes so hopefully it won't last long" he replied. She nodded and put on her sundress.
"Let's get everything ready now then, so when they get here we can hang out outside and when your done we can start to grill" she said taking his hand, he nodded his head, and she pulled him along, they walked down the stairs just in time for the doorbell to ring. Since whoever it was made it through the gate they knew it was either a player, or family member. Madison walked to the door and opened it to see Taylor and Chelsea
"Hey" Chelsea said hugging her best friend
"Come on in guys" she said
"Hey" Sidney said peeking through the kitchen
"Hi sid" Chelsea said
"We are just getting stuff ready. Sid has a meeting in about an hour" Madison said muffling a frown
"I brought beer and ice" Taylor said walking to the kitchen, Sidney smiled and hugged his sister "what are you doing?
"About to marinate this chicken and these steaks" Sidney said
"That's a lot how many people you got coming?"
"There is like 30" Madison said walking in with one side of the cooler, Chelsea on the other
"I would have gotten that" Sidney said
"Because were girls we can't do stuff?" Madison asked her fiancé in a joking way, Sidney smiled
"No I didn't say that"
"We can do just as much as you" Chelsea said, Sidney looked at her "except hockey" she added, they all laughed.
Chelsea and Taylor started to get the cooler ready, while Madison started to cut vegetables. Sidney was marinating the steaks and chicken when the doorbell rang, he looked at his hands
"I got it" she said putting the knife down. She opened the door to see her dad with a serious look on his face "hi" she said cautiously
"Sidney ready?" He asked stepping in with a few other guys
"He's in the kitchen" she said, Sidney turned the corner and smiled
"Sorry I'm not dressed for the occasion" he said with a grin "let's go to my basement" he said, he leaned down and kissed Madison before leading the way. She turned and walked back to the kitchen
"Do you know what this meeting is about?" She asked, Taylor looked away from the fridge and shrugged
"Maybe it's about the season, it hasn't really been the best" she said closing the door
"Hello" Trina said opening the front door
"Kitchen" Madison yelled
"Are they down stairs?" Troy asked, Madison nodded her head and he quickly turned to walk out of the kitchen.
"You know they don't discuss their meetings" Trina said hugging her, Madison nodded her head again and went back to cutting veggies. "What do you need help with sweetie"
"Here is chips and dips" Taylor said walking into the kitchen
"Umm can you cut the fruit for the sangria?"
"Sure will" Trina said with a smile
"Were here" Vero said walking Into the house, Estelle on her hip, Lauren, Marc, Kris and Catherine walked in behind her. Madison washed her hands and hugged everyone before taking Estelle.
"Where's sid?" Kris asked
"Hey" Geno said walking into the kitchen he smiled at Lauren, she blushed and smiled back
"Meeting" Madison said
"About what?" Catherine asked
"I don't know, he can't be traded right? He signed a new contract and..."
"No way! He is Sidney Crosby" Kris chuckled
"Ya he is here until at least 2025" Marc said
"Sid will go down as one of the only guys to never be traded" Geno said setting beer in the cooler
"Don't worry" Taylor said handing her a Michelob ultra "you guys aren't going anywhere" she added
"Hello hello" Nathalie said walking into the kitchen. Madison smiled and hugged her mom
"Where's Sidney?" Austin asked
"He's in a meeting it's not a big deal" she said walking out, everyone looked around
"What's wrong with her?" Alexa asked
"She thinks Sidney is gonna get traded" Catherine said
"But he isn't" Vero added
"Well you know how she worries about secret meetings" Nathalie said
"I'll go talk to her" Lauren said. She grabbed Madison's beer she had set down and walked outside. She was sitting with her feet in the hot tub, Lauren smiled and sat down next to her "you ok?" she asked she sighed and took her drink
"Ya I'm fine" she said
"He isn't going anywhere sis" Lauren said trying to reassure her
"I know, I just hate when he has meetings. He has so much pressure on him"
"He was the youngest player to be a captain, people look up to him. He gets the wrath of everyone's mistakes but he does it with his head held up and he is proud, plus he is dad's golden child" she said, Madison smiled and chuckled
"I know I just don't like the look he gets sometimes, it makes me nervous" she said with a shrug "if I could make him win all the Stanley cup trophies I would"
"We would all like that" Lauren said with a smile "I know after a loss he gets really upset especially if it's a game we have to win, but how does he act at home?"
"He just gets super quiet. He will sit in front of the tv and watch highlights over and over. I give him space" she said Lauren nodded
"So not to change the subject or nothing but...." She started to say, she smiled lightly and Madison looked at her confused "what do you think about me and Evgeni"
"what? Geno?" She asked with a chuckle, she shrugged her shoulders
"I've had a crush on him since he got herein 2007 but the past few days I've gotten to spend quality time with him and those feelings got stronger"
"And what does he think?"
"I think he likes me" she said, Madison looked at her little sister, she grinned and looked at the water. "Ok I know he likes me, were just worried about dad"
"If he makes you happy then I'm ok with it, just please don't break his heart. And I hope he doesn't break yours" she said, Lauren smiled.
"I think we will be ok" she said "but sis?"
"Ya?"
"Can you talk to dad about it? You've been through this before" she said, Madison chuckled
"Yes I'll talk to dad for you" She said, Lauren smiled
"There you are" Sidney said walking out of the house. They both looked up and he smiled
"That was fast" she said Lauren stood up so Sidney could take her place
"Ya, it was just a stats meeting" Sidney said sitting down "what's wrong? You ok?"
"Huh? Oh ya I'm fine. Just tired that's all" she said with a smile, Sidney smiled and moved the hair behind her ear

"Let's party!!!!" Kris yelled walking out, Marc and Geno behind him. Sidney smiled before leaning over to kiss her head, she smiled and got up.
