Rae Elvens has always done things her own way. The last twenty years of her life have been spent making her own decisions, for better or worse, and generally not giving a fuck. High school was a joke told by a socially awkward god and college was the sick fantasy played out by his twisted older brother.

Then there's Tallon.

Tallon, who's always been a part of Rae's life, but only by wisps. Although his impact was gargantuan, his presence itself has been spotty. Suddenly, he's back in Rae's life, a whirlwind of excitement, novelty, and discovery.

Through their ups and downs, growth, and need for trust--can there ever really ever be something solid between the two? Or will it always end, with only remnants of what they've given strewn about?
