Who I Am Hates Who I've Been

I can do this.
After all, it's not like I am in love with him.
He broke my heart.
I am so done with him.
He doesn't care about me.
All he wants is the life he's known.
He doesn't need me.
I don't need him.
I'll just leave.
I'll just pretend it never even happened.
Why is this so hard?
I know what I need to do.
It is just so much easier said than done.
