Unexpected

"So, how are things?" Val asked as she sipped her coffee.
I was currently hanging out with the other wives while the guys recorded a new album. Johnny wasn't allowed to tell me the name of it at all and I hadn't bothered to try and guess.
"Things are good, he's taking me out to dinner tonight" I couldn't help the smile that pulled my lips up.
He wanted to do something romantic for me, and said that a romantic dinner followed by dessert at home on the couch was the best way. I couldn't agree more.
"Maybe he'll pop the question" Val said with a smile, out of the other four girls I was the only one not married.
I wasn't in any rush though, I was comfortable with whatever pace Johnny wanted to take.
"He might, but I don't want to get my hopes up if he doesn't" I said as I leaned back in the chair I was currently perched in.
"Well, at least you guys are doing things together, Matt and I haven't done anything together in a few months" Val sighed and set her mug onto the table.
"I'm sure he'll do something spectacular for you when the albums done" I said trying to brighten the mood slightly.
"Maybe" Val said as two hands covered my eyes.
I couldn't help but jump and squeak lightly, of course he'd try and scare me.
"You get scared so easily babe, I'm surprised you haven't gone into shock yet" Johnny said with a chuckle as he moved his hands.
"Not my fault you like to scare me in the middle of the night" I said lacing my fingers with his.
Johnny laughed and leaned down, letting his cheek rest on my shoulder as he did.
I couldn't help but smile as I glanced at him, he seemed so innocent in the moments like this.
"Matt let me out early since we have reservations for six" Johnny said, wrapping his arms around my waist.
"I thought they were for eight?" I asked looking at him fully.
"I had to change them, they can be real hard asses when they wanna be" Johnny mumbled as he rolled his eyes.
"At least they didn't make you cancel" I said rubbing his hands lightly, i was nervous about going to dinner now.

Johnny buried his face in my hair and sighed softly, his breath tickling my neck as he did. Val was watching us closely, as if she was trying to figure out our PDA.

"You two are so adorable!" Val squealed as she smiled wide, clapping her hands lightly.
"You say that about all of us, except for Matt of course" Johnny said with a laugh as Val glared at him.
"I say Matt's adorable all the time, he just gets mad if i poke fun at him" It was true though, Matt would always pout

Things seemed to get better as they went along

"The food is amazing, i'm so glad you decided to come here" I said, sipping my glass of wine.
"I'm glad you like it, it wasn't easy to get the reservations" Johnny said as he sat back in his chair.

The dinner was perfect, the food was the best i had ever had. Of course i still had Val's words at the back of my mind. What if Johnny was planning to propose tonight? It'd be too obvious though, why would he do it in a restaurant knowing that i would expect it?

"Are you finished?" Johnny asked as he finished his wine.
"Yes, i don't think i could eat anymore if i tried" I said with a small smile, finishing my own wine as well.

Johnny pulled his wallet out and set down a few hundreds, how much had he spent on dinner? Actually i didn't want to know.
We both stood from the table and walked out into the cold night's air. It was surprisingly cold for an August night in Cali. I couldn't help but shiver as we both walked down to where he had parked. Johnny wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer into his side. I smiled at the warmth, it was definitely nice.

"Actually i wanted to ask you something" My heart began to beat out of my chest as we stood on the sidewalk, the only light source being the street lights above us.
"We've been together for about three years and it's been the best three years i could ask for" "I can't picture my life without you in it anymore, you're the reason i smile everyday, the reason my days are always amazing" I could feel tears well up behind my eyes as Johnny got down on one knee, pulling a small box from his pocket.
"Will you marry me?" Johnny asked as he opened the small box containing the most beautiful ring, the diamond sparkling in the dim light.
"Yes, yes i'll marry you" The tears were sliding down my cheeks, my smile would be permanent on my face.

Johnny smiled and slid the ring onto my finger as he stood up and wrapped his arms around me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him with everything i had in me, i needed to capture the moment forever. People were clapping across the street at the small diner, i couldn't help but giggle as i heard them begin to cheer.
Johnny pulled away from the kiss grinning from ear to ear, his hands still planted firmly on my waist.

"We're engaged" I said lightly breathless. All of my hopes, and dreams were now coming true.
"Yes we are, do you want to tell the guys tomorrow?" Johnny asked sliding his hands down to mine.
"I do actually, i'll call my mom and stuff tomorrow too" I said lacing my fingers with his own.
"Sounds like a plan to me" Johnny said as we continued our walk to the car.

I was thankful to get into the car and warm up, of course Johnny was looking at me as if i was insane.

"Tonight though, is going to be all about you" I said with a smile as i grazed my fingers along his thigh. I could see the blush on his cheeks as he began to drive.

Tonight was going to be a long night.

The moment we had gotten through the front door his lips and body were against mine, his hands touching every part of me that he could reach. I pulled his shirt off quickly, i needed to feel his skin against mine. My dress was on the floor as soon as his belt and slacks were, our bodies pressed even tighter.

"I can't make it upstairs" Johnny whispered softly, gripping my thighs tighter.
"Couch" I said quickly, my heart racing too fast.

I shook my head and laced my fingers with Johnny's. Of course they'd been making bets about our relationship. Then again, Johnny had told me they were making bets about us.

"So that's why you ignored my texts all night, what the hell were you doing? Fucking all night?" Brian asked as he sat back down on the love seat.

I couldn't help but blush when i realized that Arin, Brian, and Zack were all sitting on the couch that we had 'made love' on the night before. Of course we hadn't stopped til the early morning but we had been able to move to the bed after the first few times.

"Of course you two would fuck like rabbits" Brian laughed and sat back. Wait a minute, what was that behind his head? Oh shit it's Johnny's boxers.
"Hey, she wanted to repay me for the ring, i wasn't going to object" Johnny said as he wrapped his arm around my waist.
"Johnny, we didn't get all the clothes" I whispered to him as my cheeks burned up more.
"What do you...oh" Johnny said quietly, glancing over at the love seat as he did.

Brian seemed oblivious to the boxers that sat only one foot from his head, unluckily for us Arin noticed us both glancing at the love seat. His eyes narrowed, he was going to find out about last night the moment he turned his head.

"Don't tell me, you guys fucked, ate ice cream, and fucked some more?" Zack asked as he pulled out a pack of cigarettes.

Brian and Zack soon walked out to smoke, only problem was Arin was still sitting on the love seat.

"I'm assuming you guys couldn't make it to the bedroom last night?" Arin asked, pointing to the boxers behind his head.
"It was a really intense moment, so no we couldn't wait at first" Johnny said as he got up and went over to Arin, grabbing his boxers as he did.
"I won't tell the other two, knowing Brian he'd tease you even more" Arin said with a smile, i really hoped he didn't tell the other two now.

They'd give us hell forever, and i'd like to not live my days out being reminded that i fucked my fiance on a love seat the night he proposed to me. Although, the sex would live in my memory for quite a long time, not something I would easily forget.

"Okay assholes, can we actually go get something to eat now?" Brian asked as he walked into the living room. Plopping on the couch with a huff.
"Well, if everyone else is ready then let's go" I said squeezing Johnny's hand in my own.
"Why don't you two rabbits get up so we can go then? I'm starving" Brian said leaning against Arin, always a pain.

Johnny and I both shook our heads before we stood up to leave. I always tried to tell Johnny that i could spend time by myself and be fine but he insisted that i did things with him and the guys. It made me feel like i was being the annoying girlfriend by tagging along, although i had put my foot down on many occasions. It would always end with Johnny begging me to go and me refusing to. He needed to have guy time, just like i needed to have girl time. Even if my best friend lived across the country and had forgotten my existence and claimed i was a different person. I had called her everyday after i arrived in Cali but being with Johnny meant i didn't have enough free time. So she replaced me and refused to answer my calls or texts, i didn't even want to tell her about the engagement now. I wouldn't be able to have my best friend when i got married to the love of my life.

"I still have to tell my mom about the engagement" I said rubbing his back in slow circles.

We had been relaxing on the couch after a long day with the guys and ladies, i could tell Johnny was happy that i was able to become friends with the other wives. They had showed me people that liked to talk a lot of shit about them too, as if they knew them personally. It was quite upsetting, seeing people talk so horribly about someone they hadn't known. I never showed Johnny though, afraid he'd get angry and try and go off on the person, or people.

"Why don't you call her now?" Johnny said leaning back against me. His lips pulled up into a smile.
"Can i have my phone then?" I asked putting my hands on his chest, he always shut our phones off when we were relaxing. It was nice to not be disturbed at all.

Johnny leaned over and picked up my phone off the table, dialing the number before he handed it back to me. How had he known what my mom's number was? I didn't ponder on it too much before i hit the 'Call' button and let it ring.

"Hello?" My mom said after three rings, she sounded nervous.
"Hey mom, i have some news" My throat felt like there was a frog stuck in it now.
"Go on" She said quietly, it was oddly quiet on her end.
"I'm engaged" I could hear my heart beat in my ears, would she be angry.
"Please tell me you haven't gotten a dress yet" Of course that would be her first question.
"No mom, we got engaged last night" I said with a content sigh. Even though the night consisted of a lot more than just the engagement.
"Well, i'm happy for you, i really am. He really loves you" My mom said, i could hear her sniffle.
"Mom, please don't, i already did all my crying" I said laughing softly. I was more afraid i'd cry for my entire wedding and look like hell.
"I'm not crying, i just don't want to lose my little girl" I could feel the tears welling up, i was getting everything i could ever hope for in life.
"I know mom, you know i'll call you for anything" I said leaning my head against Johnny's shoulder, the tears slowly dripping down my cheeks.
"I know sweetie, and i know you two will be perfect for each other" She said sincerely. I was so glad to have her as a mom.
"Thank you, i'll talk to you when i get the chance, i'm sure it's late over there" I said with a slight yawn. How had i not realized how late it was?
"Okay, i love you" "I love you too" I sighed quietly and hung up the phone.
"Your mom seems really nice" Johnny said looking over at me.

I knew it! I knew he had called my mom, he must have called her to ask for her blessing with the proposal. I'm sure he asked for ring advice from her and Val as well. The ring was gorgeous though, i refused to take it off the moment Johnny slid it onto my finger.

"She really is, just gotta be careful when she comes out to help me pick out a dress, you might not get me back" I said with a laugh. My mom wold most likely try to steal me for however long she was staying.
"I'll make sure to get you back at the end of the day" Johnny said kissing me softly, his hand threading into my hair.
I slowly wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled his body closer, i never wanted to stop kissing him. It was such an electrifying feeling. At least i'd be able to have this for the rest of my life.

"Don't worry, he'll be waiting for you at the end of the aisle" Val said fixing my vail into my updo.

My heart was beating out of my chest, and my dress was definitely constricting my breathing at the moment. I was more afraid that i would ruin my makeup than i was that Johnny would run from the altar. Then again we had been together for about four years, so i was ready to get married to the love of my life.

"Are you ready?" Michelle, Brian's wife, asked me while she held my bouquet.
"Yes, let's go" I said taking very slow deep breaths, i needed to calm my heart so i wouldn't pass out.

The other girls walked out leading the way to the side room where we would meet the groomsmen and the best man. Val held my arm making sure i wouldn't fall down the steps, even though i had forgone heels i was still too wobbly to walk alone. I could see Matt, Brian, and Zack all standing around chatting, they seemed to be waiting for us.

"Hey, wow you ladies look amazing" Matt said walking over to us, Brian, and Zack hadn't seemed to notice right away.
"Thanks, i had to calm Krista down about four times, i was afraid she'd pass out" Val said smiling, of course she'd embarrass me.

Everyone began to get into position, ready to walk down and basically announce that i would be the last one. The woman in white. The music began to play as everyone walked out at a slow, but moderate pace. I gripped my bouquet tighter in my grip and shook my head. This was it, the moment i walked through those doors i would see him, along with the rest of our friends and family. The music changed and now it was my turn to walk down the aisle. I looked up and my eyes locked on Johnny the moment i saw him. He was beyond perfection in that moment, all i could see was him.

I willed my legs to move forward, i must have stopped breathing while i was in my day dream, because i could feel my lungs burn for the non existent oxygen. The closer i got to Johnny to more i noticed the butterflies storming around in my stomach. I handed my bouquet off to Val when i reached the altar, holding Johnny's hands as stood together.

As the priest began his speech i couldn't take my eyes off Johnny, if i thought he looked amazing from the end of the aisle he looked like a god when we were close together. I could faintly hear the priest say our names but i couldn't make out what exactly he was trying to say, everything was so muffled.

"Do you, Krista Kiefer take, Johnathan Seward to be your lawfully wedded husband for as long as you both shall live?" The priest asked as he looked at me, Johnny's smile looked as if it was going to crack his cheeks.
"I do" I said, smiling as a couple tears slid down my cheeks.
"And do you, Johnathan Seward, take Krista Kiefer to be your lawfully wedded wife, for as long as you both shall live?" The priests eyes were now on Johnny's face, his eyes shining.
"I do" Johnny said squeezing my hands gently.
"By the power invested in me and the state of California, i now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride" The moment the priest stepped back Johnny's hands had found my face, his lips pressed urgently to mine.

I held one hand around his neck and the other over one of his hands, the kiss was perfect, passionate and romantic. Love was swirling around us both like a cloud. I was now Mrs. Seward and i wouldn't trade it for the world.

"You're watching our wedding video again?" Johnny asked as he sat down with me on our bed, rubbing my swollen belly that restricted me from just about everything.
"Yes, little Lily wanted to hear it" I said smiling, it always made me cry in the best way possible, and now with all my free time i'd watch it as much as i could.
"Well if Lily wanted to watch it then i guess it's okay" Johnny said as he kissed my belly gently.

I smiled and ran my fingers through his hair, he was an amazing husband and soon enough he would be an amazing father. And too think, it all started because of an innocent message on a silly dating site.
