"Alex is the cutest" Leilani said dipping a french fry into the ketchup, Sidney smiled and nodded his head
"that he is, just wait until you see Marc and Vero's daughter Estelle" Sidney said, Leilani smiled and looked at him "what?"
"do most of the guys have kids?" she asked, Sidney shrugged
"half of them" Sidney said taking a bite of his burger
"what about you?" Sidney looked at her and took a drink of his mountain dew
"what about me?" he asked, she blushed lightly
"do you have any kids?" Sidney chuckled and shook his head no
"I cant get a girl to stick around for more than 6 months to a year" he said with a slight shoulder shrug "one day I will find someone and settle down, have a nice family and retire" he said with a smile, she smiled "what about you though?"
"oh umm" she said clearing her throat, she wiped her mouth with her napkin and looked at him "I cant keep a guy to stick around when I do get lucky enough to get someone interested in me, other than that im one of the guys according to all of my friends" she said, Sidney smiled "I grew up surfing, and around my dad and Sage and all of their friends, its just a way of life I guess" she said with a shoulder shrug "what about you Sid, why cant you keep a girl around?" she asked, he chuckled nervously and sat back in his chair, he looked around to see a few people staring at him.
"my crazy, hectic life" he said fixing his backwards hat "I don't have a lot of time for myself let alone someone else" he frowned
"it cant be east being the golden boy of Pittsburgh huh?" She asked he looked at her confused "I pay attention to the things people say, and the things around me Sid"
"no its not easy" he said softly "I never know if someone is just using me especially girls, my umm....my last ex Kathy, everyone warned me to stay away from her, but I like to see the good in people so I gave her a chance, I was happy....then I found out she was just using me to start her modeling career" he said, Leilani narrowed her eyes
"why would someone do that to someone?"
"I don't know, I've been asking myself that since high school" he said as his phone vibrated on the table "do you mind if I take this? its Vero"
"sure go ahead" Leilani smiled, Sidney smiled and pressed the green button

"im out to lunch with Leilani"

"Mario's niece"
"Marc, Sid is out on a date with Mario's niece"

"Sid, my man, is she hot" Marc asked, Sidney blushed and looked across the table, Leilani looked at him and smiled
"yes" Sidney said swallowing hard, he chuckled nervously and sighed making a mental note to kill Marc next time he saw him
"we called to invite you to dinner tomorrow night, Letang and Cath are coming"
"you can bring Leilani" Vero yelled into the phone, Sidney chuckled
"ya what she said" Marc said, Sidney sighed and looked back across the table
"I will call you guys later"
"you have to dress up we are going to Isabela" Vero yelled
"oh my gosh Vero" Sidney sighed
"hush woman, call us later Sid, enjoy your date"
"good bye you guys" Sidney said hanging up, he chuckled nervously

"That was Vero and Marc, they invited me....well they invited us to dinner tomorrow night" he said, Leilani looked at him

"I mean if you want. Its Vero and Marc. and Kris and Catherine" he said
"it sounds like fun" she said
"so is that a yes?" he asked, she nodded her head "awesome" Leilani smiled
"what do I need to wear?" she asked
"a dress, its a fancy restaurant" he said "you just find something to wear and I will take care of everything else" he said, she smiled and nodded

"thank you for today, I had so much fun" she said, Sidney smiled and looked at her, should he kiss her? should he just hug her? shake her hand? so many thoughts where going through his mind
"so did I" he said "I will pick you up tomorrow night at 7" he said, she nodded her head and opened the door, she hesitated a little before smiling and getting out of the car, as she shut the door Sidney sighed and took his hat off "such a wuss" he said watching her walk into the house, she waved before shutting the door. Leilani leaned on the door and closed her eyes, why didn't he try to kiss her? she could have sworn he wanted to.

"he has practice tonight" Taylor said "he said he would be here to get me around 830" she said looking at Leilani
