"How was your night?" Nathalie asked stirring the pancake batter, Leilani smiled and sighed before taking a seat at the island
"That good huh?" Austin asked, she smiled again and nodded
"Why do I have to live so far?" She asked resting her chin on her palm, Nathalie looked at her.
"Just move here!" Austin said, Leilani sat up
"I can't just move here" she said, Austin rolled her eyes "that's like asking Sidney to move to Hawaii" she added
"Well good thing your boyfriend is rich and can fly to you whenever he wants" he said looking at his cousin, she fiddled with the paper that was in front of her "you didn't argue when I said boyfriend!"
"Oh hush, I don't know what we are, we have only known each other a couple days"
"Sometimes that's all it takes, your mom knew your dad was the one right away" Nathalie said, Leilani smiled. She loved remembering how in love her parents where. Even after 20 years of marriage, the way they looked at each other made Leilani hope one day she would have that.
"How was last night?" Mario asked walking in
"It was good" Leilani said
"Good, Sid and some of the guys are coming by after practice to go over hockey highlights" Mario said closing the fridge
"He is?"
"Yea, it will be Sidney, Beau, Kris, Pascal, Geno, Chris, and Marc" he said "you'll get to meet more of the guys and the rest tomorrow after the game"
"Game? There's a game?"
"Yes which means after Sidney leaves tonight you have to leave him alone, sid is weird about superstitions" Austin said, Leilani nodded her head and got off the chair, she walked upstairs and grabbed her phone to see a text from Sidney
I'm very excited to see you tonight- Sidney
She smiled and began to text back until Alexa and Stephanie ran into the room
"Well?"
"Tell us all about it?"
"What happened?"
"Did he kiss you?"
"Tell us please"
Leilani smiled and sat down on her bed, the girls anxiously jumped on the bed and stared at her waiting for her to speak

"Hey sweetheart" Nathalie said as Sidney walked in
"Hey" he said hugging her
"Taylor gone?"
"Ya I dropped her off this morning" he said setting his car keys on the counter "where is everyone?"
"Leilani is outback teaching Austin how to ride that longboard skateboard thing" she said with a smile, Sidney blushed and walked out of the kitchen. Austin was on the skateboard while Leilani was jump roping, Sidney smiled and shut the door behind him
"HEY SID!" Austin yelled, Leilani stopped jumping and turned to see Sidney walking up, barefoot, in khaki shorts and a black shirt, she smiled
"Hi" he said leaning down
"Hi" she replied as his lips touched hers
"Oh gosh" Austin said, Sidney pulled away and they both looked at him
"Sorry I'm smelly, I was teaching Austin how to ride then when he got the hang of it I decided to get in a little work out" she said
"I think it's sexy" he said kissing her again, she smiled and chuckled lightly
"So you have a game tomorrow?" She asked
"Ya we are playing the flyers" he said
"You don't sound so excited"
"I hate the flyers" he said with a smile, she smiled
"Then kick their ass" Sidney smiled at her. It was the first cuss word he heard her speak and it sounded so innocent and cute coming from her mouth.
"I plan on it" he said, Leilani smiled. "Dinner tomorrow night?"
"Sure what did you have in mind?"
"Something at my place....if you would like"
"Oh....ok" she said getting nervous
"If not we can go somewhere"
"No it's fine" she said with a smile "can we watch a movie too?"
"Of course, bring extra clothes to the game....something you will be comfortable in. If you want you can stay over, you can have my bed, I will sleep in the guest room" he said
"Why not in the same bed as me?" She asked, he looked at her and smiled.
"That's strictly up to you" he said "I mean my bed is a lot more comfortable then any of the other beds in the house"
"Well I would hate to kick you out of your own bed, especially after a game" she said, he chuckled and kissed her again
"Alright alright kids, enough" Austin said rolling his eyes, Leilani threw the jump rope at him before he ran inside
"Sid, you ready? Hi Leilani" Kris said with a wave
"Hi"
"Ya I'm coming" he said, Kris shut the door, Sidney looked down at her "work calls, I will see you in a bit"
"Have fun" she said kissing him one last time. She watched him walk into the house before taking off for a run

"Come in" Leilani said, Lauren opened the door and stepped into the room before shutting it behind her.
"Hi"
"Hi Laur come on in"
"I umm....I just wanted to say I'm sorry for how I've been acting.....I just....I've had a crush on Sidney since 2005 and you just like walk right in and he is in love" she said, Leilani looked down at the comforter and sighed "but you make him extremely happy and it's all over his face" she said, Leilani looked back at Lauren "I don't know what's going to happen between you two when you leave but I hope you can make something work"
"Lauren....I didn't mean to come here and fall for anyone"
"I know you didn't and it's ok" she said Leilani smiled "He is amazing and deserves an amazing woman and that's you" she said
"Hey" they heard, they turned to the door and saw Sidney "oh sorry I can come back"
"No it's ok" Lauren said, she smiled at Leilani before looking at Sidney and walking out
"Did I interrupt something?" He asked Leilani shook her head no "I just came to say goodnight"
"Your leaving?"
"Game days are long I gotta get some sleep" he said walking towards the bed, she nodded her head "I'll see you tomorrow after the game"
"Good luck" she said, he smiled and leaned down to kiss her
"Thanks" he said kissing her once more "sleep well"
"You too"
"Bye" he said walking out, she waved and watched him shut the door, she sighed happily before shutting the light off and laying down in bed. With thoughts of Sidney in her mind she fell asleep with a smile on her face.
