Summer always sent her into a slumber. The heat exhausted her before she even rolled out of bed in the morning. She remained bored during the long days and typically slept them away.

Until Autumn’s cooler winds inspired her bones to wake. She would watch the leaves tumble down and inhale the crisp air deeply, anticipating Winter’s snowfalls and the time where she could watch the sun rise and cast its glow across the frosted lands.

Her eyes remained wide open until Spring pushed Winter aside with pollen and singing birds and the sun… How she hated the sun, it always sent her to sleep.
