I had heard that name before. It rung a bell that I couldn't place my finger on. I pinched my eyebrows together in frustration. Maybe Louis had said it. I shook my head.

"Liam Payne." His name rolled off my tongue easily. He turned in front of me.

His eyes glared into mine.

"What?" He hissed at me. I shook my head. He intimidated me. I shivered and looked past him.

"You're Everly." I blanched, my skin boiling with goosebumps.

"Um yeah." I looked at him, searching his face for recognition.

"Tommo's sister." My brother used our last name instead of his real name. I nodded. Liam winked at me. My face flared up with embarrasment.

"The one who let her dad fuck her." My heart lurched in my chest and my throat closed, restricting my breathing. I sucked in a breath and closed my eyes. Tears brimmed my eyelids.

"Tomlinson tell me everything, little girl." He turned away from me as the teacher faced us. A lump formed in my throat and I felt my body rack with shivers.

Pia glanced over at me. I dug my nails into my thighs, stopping the panic attack I felt swirling around in my chest like an untamed thunder storm.

"Ev?" Pia asked. I let out a sigh and opened my eyes.

I slammed my locker shut, hoisting my books up in my arms.

"How does Lou know him?" Pia asked, crossing her arms, resting her shoulder on the locker next to mine.

"I'm not sure. I can ask but Tommo wont tell me anything." I shrugged and pushed myself up and turned, hearing Zayns voice.

"It's raining outside, do you want me to drive you guys home?" Zayn wrapped his arm around Pia.

"Sure." She said. I nodded.

"Ok, I'll meet you guys out front after last period." Zayn left quickly. Pia tolled her eyes.

"He's stupid." She said. I laughed.

"Whose stupid?" I heard Liam's voice whisper in my ear, sending tendrils of shock through my body.

"Fuck off." I muttered, stepping away from him. His eyes danced with curiosity.

"You know, Tommo didn't tell me he had such a stunning sister."

"You're sick." I growled at him. He smiled.

"You wish." Pia rolled her eyes.

"We're leaving." Liam nodded.

"See you around Everly." I bit my lip as I watched him saunter off.

My stomach twsted in knots as Pia and I headed to our ckass. I was tired of feeling sorry for myself. I was 18, I could leave my father. I could leave and never have to deal with him again.

I didn't know what was stopping me.
