Uitwaaien

uitwaaien

My mind wanders when I take a walk. It goes to unfamiliar places and dreams up scenarios and solutions. The fresh air and new sights and mild exercise work as a cleanser to wash away the stresses from work, family and friends. Everything that bothered me is swept away with the wind and I am left at peace with myself.

I return home with a clear head and a new sense of focus, and I put a pen to paper and write out those images that formed in my head throughout the walk.
