The Other Things.

Axel passed away due to complications.

It was something I should have expected. The doctors told me the outlook didn’t look too good for my dearest friend.

But Axel didn’t want to die in the hospital and asked me to take him home.

There was no funeral. Only two people showed up when he was buried in the ground.

But I was kind of happy that it was just Ean and I.

It gave me time for the gravity of the situation to sink in.

In the end, I was very thankful to have Axel in my life, however brief.
