Ean kept telling me that I was starting to lose my sanity. He was trying to help me.

But one night, I came home with an idea that nearly gave him a heart attack.

He turned from the sink, where he was washing dishes. “What?”

“I sold the company.”

“Why?”

“I don’t want to be stuck here anymore, Ean. I need to honor Axel. And to do so, I am going to travel the world and experience it outside of having a big desk and pompous skyline.”

“Is that really honoring him?”

“Yes,” I answered defiantly.
