I don’t know if I can comprehend what’s happened to you. You’re unrecognisable to me. I used to know you so well that I knew exactly how you’d react to a new situation before you heard the news, I knew what meal you’d pick at a restaurant, and I knew what coloured socks you’d wear on a Tuesday.

But recently something inside of you snapped and now I can see that you have morphed into a new being. I know nothing of this new person, and to be honest, I don’t think I want to know.
