The rift between us had grown in the past few days. You were going there and I was going here. In truth, our universities weren't far apart; it was just a taxi ride away. Maybe it was the time we spent apart. The number of days and minutes spent worrying about our separate lives outweighed the number of seconds and milliseconds spent thinking about us. Now, we were just a passing thought to each other.
"I don't know." Maybe I shouldn't let you go when you pass by again. "Do you want to start over?"
