Tales of Symphonia Story, Tethe'alla Chronicles (3)

QUIZ START: You wake about an hour later, only needing a nap. You feel lot better than you did before; you must have gotten over whatever Rodyle did. You sit up and stretch your arms, stretching your stiff body. After moving your legs over the edge of the bed, you sat for a moment, trying to decide what to do next... Your mind wandered back to Kratos for a moment; however you soon push the thought away. Remembering what Yuan said about going to see him... You stood, brushing off your outfit, and walked to the door. After stepping outside, both of the Renegades who guarded the door greeted you with a polite nod of the head,
"I...wanted to see Yuan?" you ask,
"I'll escort you to his office." one volunteered, "Please follow me."

You feel into step behind your escort, and glanced around the base as you followed him. After a few minutes of walking you arrived outside a door; inside you heard a murmur of voices, one of which you identified as Yuan.
"Please wait here." the Renegade asked, "I'll tell Lord Yuan that you wish to speak with him."
"Okay." you nod once. The doors slid open, the conversation inside stopping immediately, and the Renegade stepped in,
"Miss Aura wished to see you." he said, saluting in the direction of where Yuan was, "I've brought her here."
"Thank you, you're dismissed." Yuan's voice responded, "Aura, come in." you walked in, however stiffened when you saw that Yuan had been speaking to Botta,
"It's good to see you awake, Miss Aura." the half elf greeted,
"Uh...Y-yeah." you respond, somewhat surprised that he addressed you so formally.
"We'll continue our conversation another time," Yuan told his subordinate,
"Yes sir." he then left.
"What do you need?" Yuan asked once Botta was gone,
"N-nothing." you respond, somewhat awkwardly, approaching his desk "I...I just wanted to see you." a smile flickered across his lips for a moment, however it then vanished and he jotted down a few things on some paper on his desk, "Do...Do you know where Lloyd and the others are?" you venture,
"......." he was silent for a moment, setting his pen down, "...Last I checked they were headed towards Volt's temple. I can only assume they intend to form a pact with him."
"A pact with Volt?" you ask curiously, "Why?"
"They'll be coming here eventually...for both you and the Rheairds." Yuan explained, "And they've figured out that the Rheairds have to be charged, or else they won't move. They probably intend to use Volts mana to power the Rheairds the way you used Undine to move the Elemental Cargo."
"You...know about the Elemental Cargo?" you ask. He flinched slightly, realizing what he said,
"...I've got people." he responded, turning back to his work,
"Hm..." you mumble, "Well...Well, I'll go back to my room now...What time is it?"
"...Eleven o'clock in the morning." he responded, "If you're hungry I'll have something brought to your room."
"No, that's okay. Thanks...big brother."
"Heh..." he shook his head once, smirking a bit, "The Renegade who showed you here should still be outside; ask him to show you back, sis." he added 'sis' as casually as he could,
"Okay." you smile a bit as you walked out of the door. Once it slid shut behind you the Renegade who'd been waiting there asked,
"You would like to return to your room?" he asked,
"Please." you nod, then follow him as he led you back to the room.

Yuan sighed, as he continued writing. Botta returned a few minutes later, and waited for Yuan to finish his work,
"...Botta." Yuan asked after a few minutes, setting aside his pen,
"Sir?"
"What is the progress of Lloyd's group?"
"The last check in was reported at one hour ago." Botta responded, "Lloyd's group still had yet to exit the Temple of Lightening."
"I see." suddenly a Renegade ran into the room,
"Lord Botta! Lord Yuan!" he exclaimed,
"What is it?" asked Yuan, standing,
"The latest report sir. Lloyds group has just left the Temple of Lightening; they are headed back to Mizuho now."
"Thank you, solider." Botta told him "Dismissed."
"Sirs!" then he left. Yuan sat back down thinking, Botta turned to him,
"...They head back to Mizuho.... Then they will come here. Both for the Rheairds, and... for Aura." Yuan said.
"Should we make any special preparations, sir?"
"..." the Renegade leader thought. He had been more worried about protecting his sister from Kratos and Yggdrasill, he hadn't really thought about Lloyd and the others coming. "Re-enable all the passwords to the hanger. Do anything that would stall them."
"What of Miss Aura?"
"...Put another guard in front of her door."
"Sir!" Botta saluted once, before leaving, to do what Yuan had requested.
