Tales of Symphonia Story, Tethe'alla Chronicles (3)

QUIZ START: After camping out for one night, you all fly towards Flanior. On the Rheairds you never thought about how high up you actually were. Soon the air got dropped severely in tempurature, a shiver shot through you body,
"Brrrrr...." Lloyd muttered "Wow. Its cold."
"We're almost there!!" Sheena called "Look! Down there!!" after looking down you see an endless plain of snow, and...a city
"Oww!!!" you exclaim, putting a hand on your head. You saw flashes of that memory you had gotten back at Yuan's base... The snow-covered city "Urrrgh...."
"Aura! Are you ok?" asked Genis
"C-can we land?" you ask "My heads hurting."
"Sure thing!" Lloyd responded, and you all land cleanly outside the city.
"Ooooowwww...." you mumble, flinching and rubbing your temples to try and soothe your headache. It wasn't helping
"I have a feeling your headaches will only get worse upon entering the city." Regal advised "Perhaps we should wait out here for..."
"No." you assure. "No, its ok. We can go in. Its too cold to stay out here."
"I heard that!" Lloyd agreed eagerly.

Lights and stands were set up all around the city. Some saying 'Saijitsu' and others saying things about the Summer Harvest. After stepping in the city, pain racked your whole body,
"O-oww!!" you sink to your knees, energy fading as the pain grew worse. Sheena kneeled next to you. What you really wanted to do now was go to sleep, you were completely exhausted, but all the pain you were in made sure that wasn't going to happen. "Owww!!" the pain only got worse, especially in your head,
"Oh no...!" Colette gasped worriedly, "Aura!"
"Has this always happened...?" asked Regal, talking to Lloyd,
"Well... uh..." the boy stuttered, "Yeah...! I mean in Sylvarant Aura got headaches all the time... but I don't think any where this bad..."
"I-I...k-...know why." you voice, remembering a little more. You remembered fireworks, and a festival. It was the festival that was set up in the city now. You remembered your parents "Th-this place... Flanior... Its my home." everyone stared at you for a moment,
"R...Really?" Genis asked,
"Ha! So my beautiful Silver Maiden is from Tethe'alla!" Zelos exclaimed, smirking triumphantly.
"It's late." Raine said "Let's go to the Inn and rest. Aura can wait out her headaches there."
"Okay." you agree.
"C-c-can we get moving?" asked the younger half-elf, due to his short sleeves and shorts, he was freezing. Sheena helped you stand. It burned and ached your legs to walk, but you tried to ignore it. After getting to the Inn, you paused in the lobby and sat on the couch, not willing to make the climb up the stairs yet.

"Zelos, will you come with me?" Regal asked,
"Hm? What for?" the redhead asked,
"I saw an advertisement for a small shop on the way here that sold heavy traveling cloaks and other forms of winter clothing." he explained, "We should purchase some if we're going to have to travel around in this area."
"Alright. Makes sense, anyway." Zelos agreed. After everyone told the pair their height, to know approximately how long of cloaks to get, then they departed out of the Inn. You sigh quietly when the pain in your body lessens... You remembered your house, spending time with Yuan, your mother telling you stories... Running around with Yuan in the festival which was taking place outside...
"Feeling better now?" Lloyd asked,
"Yeah..." you respond. You stiffened when an image of two graves flashed in front of your eyes; however you did your best not to show it, "The headaches are finally going...hm?"
"...aura..." your name was said softly from somewhere outside,
"What's up?" Sheena asked. Raine had finished reserving the rooms, and now everyone was sitting in the chairs in the lobby, all positioned in front of a warm fire,
"...aura..." the voice repeated again, "...come...outside..."
"I...I um...I wanted to go outside." you explain, standing from where you'd been sitting on the couch. You felt a bit dizzy, but you did your best not to show it,
"Outside? Now?" Genis asked, "Why?"
"I just...wanted to look around a bit, that's all." you explain,
"Would you like one of us to go with you?" Presea asked,
"No...No, thank you." you respond with a small smile, "I'll be fine."

You stepped out of the warm in, scanning the mildly crowded street in front of you. The lights and festival was taking place a few streets over, which was where the main body of the population was. Despite your curiosity towards the festival, you again heard the soft call,
"Aura..." turning towards where the voice was, you began to walk. You passed a few children running around happily as you walked up the small flights of stairs which lead up to a balcony placed in front of a church. You walked out onto the balcony, looking up at the snow; it looked beautiful from here. The entire city was dusted with white. "Aura."
"...!" you turn back in time to see Yuan walking up to the balcony to join you, "Yuan..."
"So you came here next, mm?" he commented, occupying himself by lightly brushing snow off of his cape, "Do you remember anything?"
"Yes...This is my-" you pause, "It's...It's Our home." a smile ghosted across his lips for a moment,
"...That's right. It is." he turned his eyes now towards the festival taking place on the street below, "...And today?"
"Hm..." you leaned your hands on the railing, looking at the lights, "I've seen this festival... Today meant something special for me--but I don't remember what it meant."
"...How about this, then. I'll give you a hint." he sighed. He smiled a bit and said, "Happy Birthday, Aura."
"Ah...?" you jump a bit, "M-my...?"
"Today is your..." he paused, "Eighteenth birthday." he smiled a bit again, and said, "...Happy birthday."

"Hey, Regal," Zelos asked, pausing from where they'd been walking back to the Inn after buying the heavy wool cloaks for the group, "Up there, on the lookout," he explained, "Isn't that...?"
"Aura...?" the blue haired man finished,
"Not just Aura...Yuan too." the redhead added.
"I wonder why Yuan is here..." The two paused to watch the brother and sister converse for a moment,
"Think he's trying to kidnap her again?"
"I doubt it." Regal responded flatly,
"C'mon, let's get up there." the redhead suggested,
"Why?" the blue haired man questioned,
"I mean...Yuan probably won't walk her back to the Inn." Zelos explained, "And with Cruxis being after her and all..."
"...I suppose you're right." the man nodded, "Come on. The stairs up to the lookout are over there."

"....." Yuan sighed softly, "...I've lingered for long enough. I should return to my base."
"Alright. Thank you for coming here to visit." you respond with a smile,
"Of course." he responded. He sighed softly, "...If you ever need a place to hide, you can hide in my Base. Alright?"
"I'll keep that in mind, promise." you tell him, "...B-bye."
"Goodbye." he then headed off, down a small alleyway next to the church.
"My...birthday, huh?" you sigh,
"Aura!" Zelos called,
"Ah--?" you look towards where his voice had called in time to see Zelos and Regal coming up to the stairs, both wearing thick wool cloaks of their own,
"What're you doing out here, huh? On your own, too!" he said as the two approached you,
"Heh..." you cross your arms to keep yourself warm, only just now noticing how cold it was, "I...I wanted to see the snow." As Zelos handed you a cloak Regal added,
"I....I thought I saw someone up here. Who was that?"
"N-no one." you respond, tying the cloak around your shoulders and pulling it firmly closed in front of you to warm yourself up again, "I was...I was just standing up here alone." the two glanced at one another then shrugged,
"C'mon," the redhead urged, nodding back down the stairs. "Let's get back. It's getting late." After arriving back at the Inn and handing out the winter cloaks, you all depart back up to your rooms to stay the night.

That Morning... You yawn, and wake up slowly. Your head had been hurting just a little, a few hours after what Yuan did, but you didn't wake up.
"Yuan..." you murmur again, "Thank you..." you stand slowly... You felt just fine. You smile softly, *Yes...Thank you...* with a start you remember "Oh! I'm 18! I need to tell everyone!"
