I felt like such a little man when they took her away and I remained alive that I felt worthless. Even though I had betrayed her so many times and chose my life instead of hers, she still let me live.
I brushed the blood off my mouth with my sleeve, and tried to contain the tears of guilt that were trying to show up in my eyes. She had let me live knowing full well that the guilt would follow me, but she had a bigger heart than mine, much bigger than I could ever have.
She saved me... but the next day I saw her... she was dead.

I was obviously watching the ''Insurgent'' movie and this drabble was inspired by the scene were the first day of the test to open the box that Trish was going through has ended. It's written from Peter's POV and he'd feel if he was really betraying Trish and she had saved him.
