Sea Witch

Ariel is sixteen. She attends Santa Monica High where she is the outcast. All the girls are blonde with blue eyes and a tanned model figure. Ariel has the brightest red hair and is whiter than porcelain. Ariel had a wish when she was a young girl. Her only wish is to be a mermaid. Only thing is, Ariel cannot swim.

Ariel's adoptive father never taught Ariel to swim. He and his wife adopted Ariel when she was born. His wife died shortly afterward in a boating accident. He hates the ocean but does not want to move away from the memories of his late wife.

Doris Flounder is Ariel's only friend. She sided up with Ariel after a fight with her friends. They called her weird, but Doris didn't agree. They have been inseparable ever since.

The Sea Witch is a nickname Doris and Ariel gave to Sarah Morten. The most popular girl in school. With the most popular vulgar demeanor. Head of the swimming team.

Eric.] Sea witch's boyfriend. The hottest guy in school. His father is the richest man in town. Eric has been Ariel's crush since she first laid eyes on him in the fourth grade. They have exchanged less than ten glances throughout the years, and even less words.
