Memories in My Eyes

"We shouldn't be doing this," I mumbled, pushing my fingers through his hair. I knew how much trouble we could get in if anyone found out about us.

"Do you want me to stop?" He kissed the underside of my jaw, running his hands down my sides and pressing his fingers into my hips.

"No." I should have stopped. I should have told him to take me home, but the very thing that scared me the most was the same thing that was keeping me here; in his bed, in his arms.

"Do you love me?" He pulled back, staring directly into my eyes. He rubbed his thumb over my cheek, searching for an answer in my facial expression. I could feel my heart trying to beat itself out of my chest, nervous tears springing to the back of my eyes. I took a deep breath and leaned my head into his palm, trying to work up the courage to give him the answer he was looking for.

"Colin?"
