When Loki arrived on Midgard, he realized that he needed some leverage. As he sifted through Agent Barton’s mind, he came across several threats, including Tony Stark. He saw that Tony had a brother who died in a car accident with his wife and daughter. However, Tony’s niece was still alive and S.H.I.E.L.D. was hiding her and her secrets. Now, Loki intends on having her.
