The Tale Of A Ferris Wheel

Chapter 4

We walked for about a half hour. I told Danielle about my dreams. She said that it might have to do with my fears. The parents thing might have to do with my brother dieing.
You see my younger brother died when I was 7. He was 5. It wasn't one of those sister and brother hate each other, kind of relationships. We loved each other like the world was going to end, which it did for him. His name was Andrew. Oh how I miss him.

It was a cold night. My mom, dad, Andrew, and I were all on our way to mass. Andrew and I were playing a game in the back seat. All of a sudden my dad yelled "Deer!"
Before I knew it, we were all getting jerked around. When my dad crashed into a telephone pole, I looked over to Andrew to hug him, and he was covered in his own blood. He wasn't wearing his seatbelt and when flying into the front seat and his head crashed into the window. He was dead when I looked at him. I started to hysterical cry when I saw him. My parents hadn't known what happened. When they looked back, they started to cry too.

I looked at Danielle and my eyes started to tear up. "Cassie, it's ok, I'm here." she said before she hugged me.
We got to the fair and I went over to buy a bottle of water. I chugged it down and threw the bottle away.
We bought our wristbands and went over to the rides.
I saw that cute guy again. He smiled at me this time instead of running away. We were online for the Whip at the time.
When we got off the Whip we went to a lot more rides. Once again, the last thing we went on was the Ferris Wheel.
We were a little late on the Ferris Wheel so we watched the fireworks from the top.
We walked back home slowly.
The only thing that was weird this night was the mystery guy kept fallowing us. He was about 30 feet behind us. We walked a little faster and took a different way home. He stopped when he saw the sign for our neighborhood. We were a little neighborhood named Angel Shores. He stopped, turned around and walked back. Danielle and I looked back. "He's cute" said Danielle.
We walked back home. I walked straight up to my room and cried on my bed. I just realized that in four days, my brother would be dead for nine years. Almost a decade.
I soon fell asleep in my tears.
