I Guess You Can Call These...

Sk8er Boi

“Mommy!” Timmy said walking into the living room where John and I were.
“Yes?” I asked putting him in my lap.
“How did you and daddy meet?”
I smiled. “Well, Timmy, here’s a story about a boy and a girl.
He was a punk and she did ballet, obviously they are from two different worlds.
But at fait would have it, he liked her and she wouldn’t admit it but she liked him.
She could never let her friends know that she liked the school bad boy.
The skater boy.
They would laugh at her and make fun of his baggy clothes.
Yet he made his move and she pretended to have no interest in him.
She missed her chance and he moved on.
Five years later, she married a nice guy and became a stay at home mom.
One day she saw Mr. Skater boy singing on T.V.
She calls her friends and they all get tickets to see his show.
As she stands in the crowd, sorrowed by people chanting his name, she looked up at the boy she turned down.
The ballerina realized then that there was so much more to him. He was a man now and what a man he was.
A year later skater boy met a girl after a show.
They fell in love and have been making music together, singing about a girl he used to know,”
“Who was the ballerina?” Timmy asked.
“A girl from high school,” John answered smiling.
“Daddy were you the skater boy?”
“I was,” he laughed.
“Then who were you mommy?”
“The ballerina’s friend in college and the girl your father meet at the show,” I said smiling at John.
“Cool story,” Timmy said.
“Have you cleaned your room yet?” I asked.
Timmy got off my lap and ran to his room.
John and I laughed and he kissed me.
“I love you skater bio”
