Adira's POV
"You my dear are the talk of the town." grinned Taylor
"Oh the joy of being me. Mary do you know where a big rock is for me to hide in?" I asked looking at Mary
"Sorry." she said wrapping her arm around my shoulder. "What are you and Papa Tiny going to do? Is everything all right?"
I smiled at her. "Yep. Starting today we are staying at my dad's best friend's house. He saw the news and called the restaurant."
"That's great! Your luck is starting to turn for the better." said Taylor with a grin
"Right! I mean what are the odds of an earthquake and a falling star hitting the same place!" I said. "Like, one in hundreds of millions! Good luck is bound to come my way!"
"That's our Adira!" Mary said hitting my back
"Ow." I mumbled rubbing the sore spot
Taylor grabbed me, making me stop.
"Donations, please. Donations, please." came a very familiar voice
"What?" I asked confused
"Only a dollar will be fine! Please donate."
I slowly walked over to the three boys standing at the school entrance.
"We are doing a fund raising campaign of love for Adira Kendrick who lost her home yesterday'" Jin spoke into a megaphone
"Jin! That is enough!" I said walking to him.
"Here she is! Adira!" he said ignoring me
"Jin." I growled.
"After facing a horrible tragedy she comes to school with a bright smile on her face." Jin says
"Jin you idiot! Stop it!" I growled ripping the megaphone from him
"What's wrong? I'm doing this for you!" he says
"I am already the talk of the town! I don't need you helping them out!"
"You're in my way." came a voice from the heavens
I quickly turn to find Dante and Leo.
"Hey Dante watch how you talk to her." growled Jin. "Adira's in a lot of pain right now. And whose fault is that?"
"An earthquake and a falling star." said Dante with coldness in his voice
"That's a different story!" yelled Jin
I stared at Jin in confusion.
"It's because you rejected her in such a horrible way!"
I glanced at Mary and Taylor for help but they were as confused as I was.
"That was the start of all kinds of calamities for her." continued Jin
"The probability of an extraterrestrial planetary object directly hitting someone is one in ten billion." said Dante
"'Planetary object'? You mean the falling star?" I asked
"Dude, are you saying that the one in ten billion event is Dante's fault?" asked Leo

"Jin that makes no sense." I said

Dante reaches into his pocket, pulling out his wallet. He pulls out a $100 bill and acts like he is going to put it in Jin box but instead hands it to me.
"All you want is the donation, right?" Dante asked
I hit his hand away from me. "Don't make fun of me. And to think I had feelings for a person like you for three whole years! What a waste! I rather die then take your charity."

"Of course I should! With that attitude how do you have friends?!" I yelled "I have friends who come to help when I am in trouble so I don't want or need your support."
