Ivy Claire is a sixteen year old girl with a lot on her plate. Her mom is a low life and her dad left when she was five. Ivy is responsible for taking care of her three year old half brother, Tommy, who is a product of her mother's irresponsible and childish actions. Her mom, Charlotte, proves unfit to do anything responsible in her kid's lives and quite frankly could care less if their basic needs are met. Thankfully, Charlotte's daughter is the complete opposite. Her daughter Ivy is a creative, bright, and responsible child who is shielded from the world's evil capabilities. Will Ivy ever be able to stop picking up after her mom's messes and follow her own dreams or will she follow her mom's rule and waste her life inside her dark bedroom walls to take care of her innocent half brother?
