"Show me a hero, and I'll write you a tragedy."
Those words are a challenge here in the Underworld. The most important heroes are the most fun to break. They always sacrifice themselves for those they deem innocent. It's a comedy, really. They spend so much time doing "the right thing" they don't realize us trouble makers ruining their life. Granted, it's never anything major. They fail a task here, they lose someone there. Before they know it, they're slipping. Choices become harder, they start to question their motives.
Sometimes, the hero's will is too strong. They continue to fight, until suddenly, it's over. They're dead. It's pretty pathetic.
Other times, they join us. They realize how little their efforts are, and go to the dark side instead. They don't know when to stop, and then they're exactly what they worked so hard to destroy.
So, your pick. Choose a hero. My pen is ready.
