Hundreds of years ago, humans were split in half, creating the humans we now know today. This was done out of fear of humans becoming too powerful. When someone speaks of finding their other half, they mean it literally. This is why every human has a marking on their outer ankle; no one has a matching one except for your other half.

Dan Howell is the man who kills those that do find their other half. That is, until he stumbles across his other half, Phil Lester. Then he is faced with the decision: Kill Phil, or keep seeing him, risking everything he has, including his life.
