Sister's Best Friend & Me

Sister's Best Friend & Me Chapter 6

Jaden and I were hanging out by my pool, after school, while Peter, Penny, Molly, Lilly, and Lain were playing Marco Polo.
We made it through the first week of school and we were celebrating.
“Pizza’s here!” Sam said walking in with the two boxes of pizza in her hands.
“Woo!” everyone yelled.
She turned up the radio as she put down the boxes down.
“Thanks, baby,” Jaden said kissing her.
“Mention it”.
“Aw, young love,” I joked.
“Shut up,” Sam said pushing past me.
“Yeah, when’s Ashley coming?” Jaden asked.
“Five minutes,” I said as I grabbed a slice of pizza.
I sat by the pool with my feet in as I eat.
“Hey,” Molly said sitting next to me.
“We talk to each other now?”
“Well, I don’t have too”.
“But you want to,” I said smiling at her.
“Or maybe I just wanted pizza,” she said taking my pizza.
I glared at her as she took a bite.
“Thanks kid,” she said handing it back to me.
I splashed her with water and she splashed me back.
“Hey now, be nice,” I said.
“You be nice,” she said back.
“I’m a senior. I do what I want”.
“Whatever,” she said taking the pizza from me again.
I rolled my eyes at her. She stuck her tongue out and I smirked.
“Is that an invitation?”
She blushed and I laughed.
“Hey babe,” Ashley said walking over to me in her very reveling bikini.
I smirked and stood up. “Hey babe”.
She wrapped her arms around me and I did the same. We kissed quickly before we sat by the pool and talked.
Molly swam away from us, but I could feel her looking at me as Ashley and I talked. I kept an eye out for Molly, I liked that she was jealous.
The party ended around ten and I walked Ashley to her car, plus we wanted to make out in private for a little bit.
Once I walked back into the house Lilly was waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs.
“What?” I asked wiping Ashley’s lip gloss off my lips.
“What’s going on with you and Molly?” she asked glaring at me.
“What do you mean?”
“I saw you two flirting with each other today and I heard that you two were hanging out at lunch”.
“We didn’t hang out at lunch, I wanted to ask her a quick question”.
“A question you couldn’t ask me?”
“Will you relax, there’s nothing going on between me and your little friend. Did you not see the brunette I was just with?”
“I know you Dan, you hop from one girl to another and I don’t want Molly involved”.
“Honestly, little sister, I’m hurt. I’m not putting the moves on Molly. She’s always over the house, I’m allowed to talk to her”.
“Not anymore,” she said as the shower turned off. Lilly stood up quickly and headed upstairs, “stay away from her!” she called out.
I rolled my eyes and made my way to the living room. I turned on the TV and started to flicker through the channels.
“Hey,” Molly said as she headed into the kitchen. I smiled to myself and followed her.
“What’s up?” I asked as she opened the fridge.
“I could use a late night snack,” she said.
“How about I make you a PB and J?” I asked grabbing two plates.
“Sure,” she said handing me the jelly.
“Prefect, I could use a snack myself,” I said as I started to make us the sandwich.
“So… Ashley seems nice”.
“Yeah, she’s cool. I don’t know how long I’ll be seeing her though”.
“Why do you say that?”
“Well, Ashley and I have been on and off for a year. She’s great in theory but she can be a little boring”.
“Then why still see her?”
I smiled at Molly.
“Oh gross!”
I laughed, “You asked”.
“Lie to me,” she said as I handed her the plate.
“Now I know for next time,” I said as she took a bite.
“Why not actually date someone?”
“Well, I’m in high school. Why get all serious with someone just to break up with them in a few months when I leave for college?”
“Good point…” she said looking away from me.
“Why do you ask?”
“No reason, it’s just I’ve seen a lot a girls come and go”.
“Calling me a slut?” I joked.
She laughed, “No, no. You’re a good looking dude, I figured that you’d be dating someone by now.”
I smiled, “Well, you’re hot what are you waiting for?”
She blushed, “The guys in my grade suck”.
I laughed, “They don’t get any better”.
“Great”.
I laughed as Lilly walked into the kitchen. She gave me a look and I just smiled. “What a sandwich?” I asked her.
“I’m full. I was looking for you,” she said turning to Molly.
“I was hungry, so I figured I’d grab some food while you showered.”
“All good, I’m heading to bed, but I wanted to know if you wanted to watch the new Game of Thrones episode with me?”
“Yeah, I’ll be right up”.
“Okay…” Lilly said heading up stairs.
“Do you not like the crust?” I asked Molly as she threw the crust away.
“No, it’s the worst part of bread”.
“I’ll remember that for next time,” I said taking her plate.
She smiled, “sounds good.”
“I’ll clean up, Lilly is waiting for you”.
She smiled and hesitated a little bit. She quickly walked over to me and gave me a quick peck on the lips before running upstairs.
I smiled to myself and started to clean up.
