Where Am I?
A steady beeping wakes her up from her sleep. Her entire body feels like broken glass. Everything hurts. She tries to sit up but notices several wires and tubes attached to different body parts. The room is bright. Machines surround her.
Where am I?
Voices. Several voices.
Doctor, she’s awake! Doctor, get in here.
Despite the pain and the pulling and tugging of wires, she pushes herself up and sees a man in a wheelchair enter her room.
It takes her a moment to find her voice, “Where am I?”
“Welcome to S.T.A.R. Labs, miss.”
