Her Broken Life
01: Present
“Kara Dawson has been arrested for arson, murder, breaking and entering…” and the news continued to go on. Kara rolled her eyes and walked away from the tv. Jail life wasn’t as bad as she thought it would be. Basically she was never in a jail cell. She had her own room and just shared a bathroom with the other girls there. She would be there for a long time but it was better than actual jail.
Kara was due to talk to her therapist shortly. She really enjoyed talking to her. She was able to explain everything without being judged. She saw the therapist on a weekly basis.
“So Kara, how are things?” Her therapist asked.
“Things seem to be okay.” Kara said.
“Has he tried to get in touch with you since being here?”
“Yes, but I haven’t wanted to talk to him.”
“Why not?”
“Because, I have nothing to say to him. He’s not the person that I thought he was when I first met him. He destroyed my life and that’s something I can’t just move on from.”

“Because, I have nothing to say to him. He’s not the person that I thought he was when I first met him. He destroyed my life and that’s something I can’t just move on from.”

Short, but that's how I wanted to end it. I'm excited to see where this goes.
