I was lying in my bed on a loft above the window. I was spilling over myself and my edges had spread wide. My mouth was open as my cheeks melted across the pillows.

All the moments in my life seeped through a breath into the air. I depressed down to the mattress.

Thick soup drowned my lungs. More than enough I wanted to be different and the decisions of times' past had made that difficult.

The strength in my veins was not worth the the rest that followed through. Whoever thought that I was worth anything couldn't be more wrong. Here I lay in shame.
