In Portland, Oregon, there are tunnels that travel underground also known as the Shanghai Tunnels. Men were either drunk or drugged before they were kidnapped into terrible manual labor while women were prostituting in those tunnels too.

But in 2015, the practice of shanghaiing in different then it was back then.

Modern day shanghai is now called prostitution.

And Kellin has become the victim of this practice.
