Damn, Daniel

shut up, daniel

“Hey Daniel!”

“Someone’s chipper this morning.”

“I got the camera in my hand, so the focus is still on you.”

“Awesome.”

“No need to be sarcastic.”

“No need to be so chipper. Do you know how early it is?”

“10am is not early.”

“It is when you wake up at midday.”

“Why do you sleep in so late?”

“I’m usually up late the night before.”

“What are you doing that makes you stay up?”

“I uh, write.”

“Write what?”

“Like uh, poems and stuff. Whatever I’m in the mood for.”

“Why do you write them?”

“They help me express myself when I’m struggling to find the words.”

“Do you reckon you could read one for the sake of our project?”

“Probably not.”

“Fair enough.”

“Can I ask a question?”

“Do you have a camera?”

“No?”

“Then I’m the one that gets to ask the questions. Besides, you never answered my questions from our first hang.”

“Hang is stretching it, don’t you think?”

“Sorry. Our first forced meeting together for this class assignment.”

“Better choice of words.”

“I try.”

“So uh, what do I have to answer?”

“Your age?”

“Oh right. 17.”

“Same! When’s your birthday?”

“March 5th.”

“Oh lame. We don’t have the same birthdays.”

“That would be kind of weird if we did.”

“Mine’s Jan 7th, in case you were wondering.”

“I wasn’t.”

“That’s rude.”

“Are you being sarcastic?”

“Yeah! Was I any good at it?”

“It was a pretty cute attempt, not gonna lie.”

“Oh, shut up, Daniel.”

“Are you blushing? Have I embarrassed you?”

“Next question!”

“You’re cute when you blush.”

“Can you stop calling me cute? I feel like my face resembles a tomato.”

“It does.”

“Thanks Daniel.”

“No worries, Kimi.”
