I pass you in the hallways but we don’t talk. We sit next to each other in class but your gaze never strays from either the board or your phone. We hang out in the common room with the rest of the people in our dorm but not once do you laugh at a joke I make or comment when I’ve opened my mouth. It’s odd to me that we can go from being sisters to well, nothing.

I don’t know who you are anymore, and that scares me.
