The Reign of Adaline
Something I can hold onto.
"How do you love me Charles?" Charles rolled on his side and caressed Adaline's cheek. His eyes locked on her and his finger began tracing circles on her creamy olive skin. ''With all my heart, with all my soul, with every ounce of my being. I love you, I will always be true.'' Her hair was sunshine gold and was ocean kissed wavy. "I do believe, you" She paused.
"But?" He looked at her quick and stern with an anxious tone
"Is it all going to change my love? Are all these things going to pass?" Adaline rose from the covers and gazed into Charles' hazel green eyes. He pulled her face into his hands and held it, he gently placed his lips onto her and gave her a hard and passionate kiss.
"Tell me something I can hold onto, something i'll never let go of" She asked
"Your reign will not, can not change us. Our love is written, you know this to be true yes?" She nodded had placed all her faith in these words.
"But?" He looked at her quick and stern with an anxious tone
