3 weeks travelling round Canada with your parents can have a serious effect on your mental health - Lydia is quickly discovering this by the time she's at Vancouver docks waiting to board the ship that's going to take her and her parents on a week long cruise to Alaska and back.
First impressions of the cruise didn't put her in a better mood as she saw no one younger than her parents, and she expected to just be following them around and sitting around the room for a week. Her only priority was to find out if they had computers she could used just so she could get some kind of relief by talking to some of her friends back in England.
Things quickly changed when she waiting in the line to be seated for dinner and she caught her first glimpse of only person under 20 she had seen all day.
Lydia, Nathan and all the other characters in this story are my own - they and the plot are all part of my imagination. The characters may have been based on my friends and people I know, but I still wouldn't apprieciate people taking any of my ideas without my permission.
