Beaches

I got a tattoo of Tom Hanks in Castaway on my ass in memoriam. He had this weird thing about that movie. Would watch it, tripping and mesmerized. The tattoo seemed equal parts morbid and beautiful, so perfectly poetic at the time. Everyone thought it was hilarious and we laughed and we cried and it was so cathartic, I thought that maybe everything would be okay.
