Adriana had thought the news of her pregnancy would be good news for her fiancé.

They had been together for years, more than Adriana cared to remember, but when he reveals that children are not part of his plan for their future, it leaves Adriana heartbroken and faced with the prospect of bringing her child into the world alone, something which more than scares her.

Iker knows what it is to feel alone.

For the first time in his career, he’s faced with the prospect of living outside of Madrid, the place he has always called home. With a new home, a new club and new teammates to get used to, Iker finds himself missing home more and more, something which is alleviated slightly when he strikes up a friendship with the club doctor.

Will Adriana and Iker be able to make something out of their friendship or will things simply be too complicated?
