There is a light, to flood the stage, to sheen in a hydrous grace.
No one wants to be first in dipping their toes and testing out the water. It might be a shadow to frighten them, but they should not be afraid. The light can either blind or show; it is the dark which swallows all sensation.
Hence, a troupe must be blessed in camaraderie. In order to master their shining, they need it.
To be with the light and not expelled into the dark… as a certain one should be.
