Alex's parents are coming to visit for a week, Alex was a little dumb and lied to them telling them that he had a boyfriend just to stop them from trying to set him up with weird people that their friend's of friend's knew. Jack was never meant to get this invested, he was just trying to help his friend, he wasn't gay... He didn't think this was going to mean anything.
