Spencer Reid has worked for the BAU for 12 years, he's seen the very worst of humanity including losing the love of his life Maeve. He has decided to focus only on his work and to put love out of his mind completely.
Leona Mercer is young, she has been through the FBI academy and spent four years working on a degree in criminology. She respects the BAU and wants nothing more than to prove she's capable of hunting the monsters within their society, the last thing on her mind is falling in love, but Spencer Reid makes that easy to do.
