Take Me to Church

Chibs woke up early the next morning for church, Clay had called everyone in extra early for it. That's how I know something big had happened.

Once he was up and out of the bed, I couldn't sleep anymore- so I decided to go ahead and get up for the day as well. I went into the bathroom and splashed some cold water on my face before going to get dressed.

First, I went to the dresser and picked out a white black polka dotted set of bra and panties. i pulled them onto my bare body before moving over to the closet, where I picked out the rest of my outfit for the day. It consisted of light colored jeans with rips above the knees. A black tank top with a white and grey shirt with a skull on it. Then, finally, a worn down pair of grey and white boots.

Once I was dressed, I made my way out of the apartment, down the hallway and into the kitchen. I grabbed my now clean coffee cup and filled it to the brim with coffee before I walked out into the main part of the bar.

Looking at the clock over the bar, I noticed it was a lot later than I had originally thought. I guess I had dozed off for a little bit after Chibs had gotten up. That's more than likely why there was no one around. Everyone except for Chibs and Piney were in the chapel. I only knew that much because they left the door open....which was odd.

I was more than surprised to see Jax was still around with the VP patch on his chest. I would definitely have to ask someone about that later. Probably Gemma, she usually knew what was going on.

Hearing the door to the club open, and seeing Chibs walking in tore my mind away from my thoughts.

"Is everything alright, dear? You look upset." I questioned, taking a few steps towards my husband. "I don't know." He took his head. Before I could say anything else, he went into the chapel with everyone else and closed the door behind him.

With a sigh, I turned my attention back to my coffee that was sitting lonely now on the bar top getting cold. I was considering going to refill the cup, but it was mostly full. Or I could go talk to Gemma in order to find out what the hell was going on around here. I had just started moving to go find Gemma, when the door to the club burst open and Piney came storming in.

I was quick to take a step towards him as he approached the chapel; and boy did he look pissed. "Piney, where have you been? Are you alright?" I asked stepping behind him.

Piney paused for a slight second before moving faster than I had ever seen him moving before. One hand opened the chapel door, the other he used to push me backwards before firing his gun towards Clay. I landed on my ass, as the boys were quick to act. I couldn't stop myself from letting a scream escape my lips at the sight of Piney attacking Clay. Tig jumped up and covered Clay, and the others forced Piney down while Jax took the gun.

Opie requested the room, so they all filed out into the bar. Chibs came out first, and helped me to my feet before leading me over to the bar.

"Are you alright love?" He questioned, placing his hands on my cheeks. I couldn't help but smile at how much he cares. "I'm perfectly fine, don't you worry about me." I shook my head ever so slightly.

"Christ, Kaela, you slept all day, are you feeling alright?" He was quick to ask as his hand moved to my forehead as if trying to check my temperature. I grabbed his wrist, and pulled his hand down away from my head. "I'm fine. I just had a migraine is all. Why don't we go back to the apartment?" I suggested softly."You don't want to go home? We don't know how long we'll be here on lock down." He pointed out.

"No. You can go if you want, but I have to meet Gemma here pretty early to go get groceries." I explained to him, only to have him look at me like I had lost my mind in the last sixty seconds.

"If you honestly I'd leave you here alone, you have seriously lost your mind. Come on, let's go back to the apartment." He scoffed, placing his arm around my shoulders.
