Chapter 15: Bed Time
Ethan closes the door behind Angel
Ethan: It's late. Bed time children
He takes Angel into the room. She noticed there were three more beds in the room. She goes to her bed as he cuffs her ankle. He leaves then brings Kristine in and takes her to the bed in the middle and cuffs her ankle. It takes him about ten minutes to get Brian in the room. Brian's clothes were different. A white long sleeve pajama shirt and a white pajama pants. Ethan takes him to the bed at the far end of the room and cuffs his ankle as well
Ethan: Unfortunately Sarah won't be joining you tonight but if she behaves tomorrow then she will
He heads to the door
Ethan: Goodnight
They all stay quiet. He stops and glares at them
Angel and Brian: Goodnight
He smiles then leaves. Once the door closed Angel and Brian get out of the bed and walk over to each other. The chain pulls them back making them unable to reach each other
Brian: *whispering* That son of a bitch. He won't get away with this
Angel: *whispering* Police will come and find us. They always search the place, they have to
Brian: *whispering*: But they have to get warrants first... fuck. That'll give him time
Angel: *whispering* We just have to stay calm and do what he says. Maybe we can catch him off guard if we get his trust
Brian: *whispering* Maybe. He might know something's up
They hear footsteps so they quickly go to their beds, get under the covers, and pretend to be asleep. Kristine does the same. The footsteps pass by the door. They hear him go into a room while a door closes. Angel and Brian get out of their beds and meet back up. Angel waves Kristine over as she gets up and walks over
Angel: *whispering* Do you know if there's another way out of this house?
She nods then points down
Brian: *whispering* Downstairs? In the basement?
She nods then points at the closet in the room
Angel: *whispering* In the closet where I was hiding?
She nods
Angel: *whispering* It's in the closet
She shakes her head and points at the closet then circles her fingers
Angel: *whispering* Behind it?
She nods then lifts one finger
Angel:*whispering* One?
She looks at Brian
Brian: *whispering* One thing?
She nods then goes over to the wall and starts tapping on it like if she's pressing buttons
Brian: *whispering* Shit... It's needs a code
She nods. Angel puts her hands on her head
Angel: *whispering* how the hell are we suppose to find the code?
Brian: *whispering* I don't know
They look at Kristine but she just shrugs
Brian: *whispering* No matter what happens or what we go through we're all getting out of here
They all nod
Ethan: It's late. Bed time children
