Hannibal
Waking Up
I slowly opened my eyes and I stratched. I was slightly confused when I saw that I was laying in a crib and not my bed.
I sat up and wiped my eyes. I wanted to scream or shout. I wanted to ask for help. I whimpered and crawled up to the pillows. I of course remembered last night. It didn't help at all though. I was just scared.
My whimpers and sniffles grew louder and suddenly there was someone opening the door.
I pulled the sheets up and attempted to hide.
"Hmm." The voice said. "Han. I think our little girl has left." The person, Theo, sighed and sounded as if he was sobbing.
"Don't cry, hun. I guess we'll just have to find someone else to use Penny's crib and someone else to make pancakes for."
I peeked my head out.
The little game made me giggle.
I quickly hid again.
"Hm. That was strange. I thought I heard a little princess laughing."
"That is strange, Theo. I think it was coming from Frankie's room. I guess we should just leave Penny's room." Hannibal sounded sad too and he sighed.
I peeked my head out once again and watched as they both turned towards the door to leave.
"Wait!" I exclaimed. I didn't want to be left alone again.
"Who was that?" Theo quickly whipped his head around.
"It's me!"
Theo ran over and lifted me from the crib.
"Aw, princess. I thought you'd left us for good."
I giggled again. "I was just hiding."
"I don't know what I would do if you left us so soon."
I smiled and hugged Theo. I buried my face in his neck. He smelled like cinnamon.
"Alright, baby girl. Do you need a change before we go and get some brekky?" Hannibal asked.
I shook my head no and buried my face further into Theo's neck.
"You don't need to be embarrassed, princess." Theo rubbed my back. "If you need a change, you need a change."
"Panda." I mumbled.
Theo didn't seem to understand, but Hannibal started to move and within a few seconds I had my panda.
"Is it okay if I change you. Daddy needs to go wake up Frankie."
I blushed.
"Oh okay."
Hannibal kissed my head then left the room.
I was being laid onto the changing table and felt nervous.
Theo must have noticed cause he didn't touch my diaper just yet.
"What's wrong, princess?"
"I. I don't know." I hid my face in my panda.
"That's okay. It's alright to be nervous. I get nervous sometimes too." Theo was rubbing my tummy as he spoke. It felt very comforting and very pleasant.
"What do you get nervous about?" I asked him.
"Well. Sometimes when I have to go to work, I'm nervous that I'll mess something up or your daddy will need me at home and I won't be able to get here. That stuff makes me nervous sometimes."
"I don't like being nervous." I admitted.
"I don't either. Sometimes it makes my tummy feel funny and I don't like when my tummy feels funny."
I giggled at that.
"Daddies aren't supposed to be nervous." I said.
"Is that right?" Theo laughed a little. "Well I guess I'm not like most daddies. Cause this daddy is nervous ALL the time!"
I giggled some more. "It's okay to be nervous. That's what you said." I gave him a small smile.
"It is okay to be nervous." He leaned down and kissed my head. "Is it okay if I change you?"
I blushed again, but shook my head yes.
He made quick work of what he was doing then lifted me up.
"Let's get you out of these clothes and we can put a nice pretty dress on." Theo set me down on the ground and took the rest of my clothing off.
I covered my flat chest and blushed.
"That's okay, princess." He moved my hair from my face and went to the closet.
"Would you like to see the different clothes we got for you?"
He flipped the closet light on and walked inside.
I hesitantly followed him and felt the material as I walked by them.
I stopped on a long blue dress. It was a soft cloth and it had tiny bows all over it.
I took it down and showed it to Theo. "I like this one."
Theo gave me a smile and took this he dress.
He removed the hanger and undid the top back buttons so my head could fit in.
He slipped it over me and had me turn around so he could button it back up.
I walked out of the closet and did a small spin.
I giggled when the dress spun with me.
Theo smiled.
"Thanks, papa!" I ran forward and hugged him.
He lifted me up and kissed my cheek.
"No problem, princess."
I sat up and wiped my eyes. I wanted to scream or shout. I wanted to ask for help. I whimpered and crawled up to the pillows. I of course remembered last night. It didn't help at all though. I was just scared.
