“what do you want to drink babe?” Harry asked as she opened her menu
“wine” she said with a smile
“white, red or rose?”
“umm let’s do white”
“would you guys like a bottle of wine?” Leslie looked over at Cole and shrugged “white” he said to Cole, Cole chuckled.
“sure” He said with a smile
“your highness?”
“a bottle of percheron, white please, 4 glasses”
“yes sir” the waiter said, Harry cleared his throat and looked across the table, Leslie quickly looked away and blushed. Harry looked over at Blakely and smiled before putting his arm around his chair.
“you look beautiful” he whispered, Blakely blushed and looked at him.
“stop, people are looking” she whispered back
“let them”
“babe”
“alright, alright” he said with a smile, he sat up in his seat and cleared his throat. “how was your last few days Cole?”
“it was good, we went down to the village and visited with the kids. Leslie checked dental hygiene” Cole said reaching to grab Leslie’s hand
“you’re a dentist?”
“yes” she said putting her glass down, she smiled and cleared her throat
“where are you from?” Harry asked
“Seattle, Washington. I came here about a month ago”
“oh nice, do you like it?”
“yes, a lot……im here for a year”
“oh wow” Blakely said with a smile
“Cole, says you work with children in the trauma unit?”
“I do”
“how is that?”
“it has its moments” Blakely said with a shrug “but seeing the kids smile, makes my entire day” she said with a smile.
“Harry don’t you do a lot of work with children here in Africa?” Leslie asked, Harry smiled and leaned back in his chair
“I do, in Lesotho. I have my charity there”
“Sentebale” Cole said with a smile, Harry smiled and looked over at Blakely
“how far is that?” Leslie asked
“45 minutes away or so” Harry said, Blakely yawned “tired?”
“Yeah, sorry”
“excuse me”
“yes sir, your highness”
“can we get the check please?”
“yes sir together or separate?”
“together, and the table in the back with the 3 men in polo shirts, I will take their checks as well”
“yes sir”
“Harry you don’t have to pay” Cole protested
“its on me” he said handing over his black card. “thank you” he said taking back the bill and his card, he signed it and closed it before looking over at Blakely “ready baby?”
“yeah” she said scooting her chair back, she stood up and stretched. Jim, Mike and Avery quickly standing. Avery walked out to get the car while Jim and Mike walked up to them.
“ready sir?
“yes, thank you” Harry said putting his arm around Blakely’s waist. Harry began to walk before Jim stopped him
“sir” they looked at him confused “Avery said there are lots of paparazzi outside” Blakely looked up at Harry and frowned
“you 3 go with Jim, I will meet you with Mike in the back”
“are you sure?” she asked, Harry nodded
“not yet baby” he whispered, she nodded her head and took in a deep breath “go ahead, I will be ok. Jim?”
“yes sir, right this way ma’am”
“Leslie and I will just walk out, its not us they want” Cole said, Harry looked at Jim who nodded his head in agreement
“Jim” Harry said sternly, Jim looked over at him “please be careful” he said looking over at Blakely
“yes sir” he said “ma’am you ready?” she looked at Harry and he could see the fear in her eyes
“its ok” he said, she nodded her head and looked over at Jim
“im ready” Harry smiled at her confidence and watched as Jim led her out, he grabbed her arm and she walked with her head down. Harry frowned as everyone began to yell for her
“keep walking baby” he whispered, he watched as she got in the car and Jim shut the door and walked back inside for him “I want to go out the front”
“sir?”
“its not fair to have Blakely go out the front and me out the back, lets go” he said Mike and Jim looked at each other before following him out.
“what is he doing?” Blakely asked. Cole and Leslie looked out the window confused “babe? Are you crazy?” she yelled as he got in the car
“hush” he said kissing her lips “im here”
“why did you do that?”
“because its not fair for you to have to deal with all this bullshit without me, and then me sneak out the back. If you have to go through it then so do I” her frown faded and a smile appeared on her face.
“aww” Leslie said looking at the couple in front of her, Cole smiled at Harry impressed.
“thank you” he said, Harry smiled and put his arm around her, she cuddled into his side and closed her eyes
“babe” Harry said gently shaking her “we are here”
“mmm” Harry smiled and got out of the car he gently pulled her to him and picked her up. Cole looked down the stairs and smiled as Harry carried her up the stairs. He walked to her room and laid her down on the bed, she stirred a little before falling back asleep. He smiled and walked to the bathroom to brush his teeth and get ready for bed. He locked his bedroom door before walking through the bathroom to her room. He climbed in the bed and cuddled up next to her. The next morning she woke up and frowned seeing her bed empty. She showered and brushed her teeth before putting on a little make up and walking to the living room
“morning sleepy head, want some coffee?” Harry asked
“yes” she said with a smile, she walked to him and kissed him lightly before taking the cup.
“so I was thinking…”
“yes?”
“would you like to go to Lesotho with me today? I have to check up on some stuff at the shelter”
“really?” she asked smiling into her cup
“yeah. Seeiso is expecting us at 11” he looked at his watch before looking back at her
“ok” she said walking to the couch to sit down
“I’m gonna go shower and change” he added kissing the top of her head, she nodded and turned on the TV before laying down
“oh, good morning” she looked up and saw Leslie blush
“hi, I didn’t know you stayed over”
“yeah, sorry if this is awkward”
“It’s only awkward if you make it awkward, would you like some coffee? Harry just made a pot”
“sure, thank you”
“Cole home?”
“yeah, he is getting ready for work” she said walking to the kitchen
“baby, blue or black?” Harry asked walking into the living room in just a towel, Leslie turned to see him, her eyes went wide and she blushed. Blakely cleared her throat and looked behind him. Harry narrowed his eyes before turning to see Leslie standing there
“blue” Blakely added quickly standing up, she pushed him to the hallway and turned to Leslie “im sorry”
“It’s ok” she said with a small chuckle
“Harry, you can’t walk around in just your towel” she said shutting his bedroom door, he set the shirts on the bed and turned to look at her, he grinned at the look on her face.
“I’m sorry, I thought we were alone” he finally spoke
“I have seen the way she looks at you Harry”
“is someone jealous?”
“jealous?” she scoffed “absolutely not”
“then why are you worried about how someone looks at me? I’m use to it. I’ve been a Prince my entire life” he said, Blakely rolled her eyes
“I’m not worried, it’s just weird because she is sleeping with my brother”
“maybe she just stares at me because she is still in shock”
“maybe” she said sitting down, Harry buttoned up his shirt and walked to the bed, he grabbed his watch and leaned down to kiss her head once more
“I only have eyes for you” he said sliding his buckle through the loops of his jeans “come on” he said sticking his hand out for her to take. She smiled and placed her hand in his, he pulled her up and kissed the top of her hand before walking out of the room.
“what are you 2 up to today?” Cole asked, Leslie turned and blushed before looking down at the ground.
“heading into town to see Seeiso and the house” he said putting on his tan shoes.
“Cole are you off for next week?”
“yes, I have 9 days off starting Thursday, you want to go down Friday still?”
“yeah, Harry?”
“works for me” Harry replied not looking up from his email
“where are you going?” Leslie asked
“Jerffreys bay, it was our dads favorite place to visit” Blakely forced a smile, as Harry nudged her would you like to go?”
“oh, umm yeah sure” Blakely looked at Harry with a raised eyebrow
“stop” he mouthed “alright, we are heading out. I told Seeiso we would be there by 11”
“have fun” Cole said with a smile
“bye” Blakely said to both Cole and Leslie before walking out of the house

“don’t make it obvious that you don’t like her, Cole really likes her”
“I know” she sighed getting in the car “I have a bad poker face, Jim”
“yes ma’am?”
“you’ll keep a eye on Leslie right?” Harry snickered and looked over at Jim
“yes ma’am”
“thank you” she said looking back at Harry, she stuck her tongue out at him before smiling
“feel better?”
“yes” she said as the car pulled away. Once they arrived, Mike opened the door, while Avery cleared the building. Harry smiled as Seeiso walked out of the house with Mutsu.
“who is the little boy? Blakely asked getting out of the car
“Mutsu” Harry said, the 15 year old boy ran into his arm and Blakely smiled watching them hug happily “Mutsu this is Blakely, Blakely his is Mutsu, I have known him since he was 3”
“it is so nice to meet you” Blakely said with a smile, she shook his hand happily. Mutsu looked at Harry and smiled
“you too, girlfriend?”
“only if you keep it quiet” Mutsu chuckled “where is our tree?”
“want to see it?”
“yes” Harry said happily, Seeiso hugged Blakely before shaking Harry’s hand and letting him go off with the young boy.
“Mutsu and Harry have had a bond for so many years”
“what happened to him?” Blakely asked as she walked next to the Prince, she watched as Harry and Mutsu laughed and talked as they walked ahead of the 2
“he was orphaned at the age of 2, his father was killed as well as his mother, he was found starving on the side of the road, when Harry came during his gap year in 2004, Mutsu walked right up to him and took his hand and stayed by his side for hours, they played games and planted a peach tree” he said pointing to the tree Harry and Mutsu had stopped at, Blakely smiled in awe as she watched Harry. “Harry brought Mutsu a pair of blue wellies and Mutsu wore them everyday, refused to take them off, even when he outgrew them” Seeiso laughed “he is very fond of Harry”
“I can tell, do you mind showing me the rest of Sentebale?”
“of course, right this way” he said giving her his arm, she wrapped her arm in his and began to walk by his side, she turned to look at Harry who had looked up to watch them walk away, he smiled and she repaid him with a air kiss. Seeiso showed her all the rooms, and kitchen while introducing her to the volunteers and several children.
“you are really pretty” one of the young girls said
“are you a Princess?” another asked
“not yet” she heard
“HARRY!!!!!” everyone screamed, she turned wide eyed and smiled as the children surrounded Harry for hugs. After the couple spent the day talking to the children and visiting with volunteers it was late and time to head back to the house. They said goodbye to everyone and after Harry promised Mutsu he would be back soon, they where in the car.
“did you have fun?’
“I did! Harry it’s great! I loved everything” she said with a smile
“good”
“I want to do whatever I can to help”
“really?”
“yes!” she said happily
“I will keep that in mind”
“I would like to see it again before I leave”
“well we have Jefferys bay and Malawi so maybe right before you head back to Texas” he said kissing her head that was resting on his shoulder. She played with the fingers that where tangled in hers and sighed happily, until his phone rang
“who is it?”
“my dad” she sat up and looked at him nervously “hello?”
“Harry”
“father” he said clearing his throat
“pictures are out, we couldn’t stop them” Harry closed his eyes and nodded
“ok” he said softly
“get with Blakely and talk about your next steps, let me know if we need to release the statements, I will send you the article, its published in Australia and America”
“ok” he said hanging up
“what’s wrong?”
“pictures are out in Australia and America”
“of us?” Harry nodded and opened the text from his father, he showed he the photos. 1, of them laughing at dinner, another of Harry with his arm around her chair both of them smiling and looking in each others eyes, and the last one of Blakely walking out of the restaurant alone. “what do we do?”
“we can come out, or we can continue trying to hide” he said with a shrug
“what do you think we should do?” she asked
“its up to you babe”
“no, Harry! I’ve never done this or been through this before”
“if we come out, they will follow you everywhere, they will follow you home, follow your family, if we don’t come out they will follow us everywhere, continue writing in the papers about us…”
“either way, they are going to follow us?”
“yes, they know who you are now” he said showing her another picture, she took his phone and looked at the tabloid, it was a mess of pictures of her in her military uniform, a picture of her in her bikini at the beach, and the picture of her and Harry in London. She covered her mouth with her hand. “babe”
“stop the car” she said
“baby?”
“I’m going to be sick” she said getting out of the car, she took in a few deep breaths and began to pace in a circle, Harry got out of the car and leaned against the side to give her space. He watched her pace back and fourth “so this is it?” Harry looked at her confused “we are out to the world?” he nodded his head

“do you think I can really do this? Be a royal girlfriend?” Harry took in a deep breath and walked to her
“yes, and I think you will be a damn good one too. You are everything that the public wants to see me with. You are beautiful, and smart, you come from a great family, you have that military background that I do, you have a heart of gold” he said with a smile, she stopped pacing and looked at him.
“ok, lets do this”

“yeah” she said with a smile, Harry smiled and leaned down to kiss her
“I promise I wont let them hurt you”
“ok, I believe you” she said with a smile
“lets go home” he said motioning to the car. She nodded her head and began to walk towards it, Harry took in a deep breath and climbed in behind her.
