Adjusting

"What do you say we leave for California, If we drive all night we can make it by the morning.
And no one has to know if we decide to go....."

"Who would be calling this early?" I groaned,

I walked over to my dresser where my phone was at. I answered it, without seeing who it was.

"Hello?" I said into the phone.

"Hey Jessie!" the person said

"Aly?" I asked in shock.

"Who else would it be?"

"Ahh, Aly I miss you so much."

"Hmm, well go outside."

I hung up and ran outside. It was pretty much obvious she was going to be out there.

"Aly! I yelled, and gave her a hug.

"Why are you here, I thought you were gonna be in Georgia this month?" I asked.

"Yeah, But I wanted to visit you instead. My mom called your mom and they agreed I could stay for the rest of this month." She said excitedly.

"That's awesome! Come on, put your bags in my room." I said.

"Okay, now that I have all my stuff put away, lets go do something." Aly said.

"Uhm, like what?" I asked.

"Let's go to Starbucks." She replied.

"Make sure you call me, so I can pick you girls up." My mom said.

"Yeah, okay, mom." I replied.

"Don't forget to!" She said.

"Mom, I won't, go just go now." I said annoyed.

"Bye!" She said, driving off.

"Jessie! Hurry up!" Aly yelled. She already was at the door.

"Sorry." I said, catching up to her. "My mom was making sure I called her." I said rolling my eyes.

"Don't worry about it, my mom can be like that too." Aly said, laughing.

We ordered our drinks, and sat down.

"So, how is everyone back in Arizona?" I asked.

"Pretty good. Everyone misses you a lot." Aly answered.

"I miss everyone too. I wish I didn't have to move." I replied.

"Jessie, come on, Cali is way better than Arizona." She said.

"Yeah, But everyones in Arizona. Not-" I stopped talking and stared.
Could it be? No, it couldn't.

"Caramel Frappuccino." I heard him say. I recognized that voice. It was him.

"Jessie...?" Aly said. Waving her hand in front of my face.

"Aly we have to leave. Now." I said, while getting up.

"What? Why?" She asked, confused.

"I'll explain later, let's go!" I said.

As I was running, I accidentally bumped into him.

Great.

"Sorry." I said, with my head down. I couldn't let him see my face.

"It's ok. Wait..." He said blinking, confused. "Jessie?"

"Uhm, no, I don't know who you're talking about" I said nervously, running, and pulling Aly with me.
